Emtek Announces 410 W Xenon GeForce RTX 3090 Turbo Jet OC D6X 24GB GPU

Emtek a South Korean company have recently announced the Xenon GeForce RTX 3090 Turbo Jet OC D6X 24GB GPU which comes with a glamorous shroud and a max power consumption of 410 W. The card features three 8-pin PCIe power connectors and is recommended to be run with a 850 W power supply or higher. This 410 W power draw is 17.1% higher than the suggested 350 W power profile from NVIDIA and explains the 850 W power supply requirement. The card features a 5.3% higher boost clock then reference models at 1785 MHz and will likely offer some of if not the best gaming performance available. The Xenon GeForce RTX 3090 Turbo Jet is exclusive to South Korea and is unlikely to receive a worldwide release.

410Watts. Damn that's a lot of power for a simple AIB card. It's just a matter of time when Graphics cards are gonna consume more than a washing machine :O or maybe they already do.

That's it! The world really needs more flashy amperes heating up the wires right about now.

17% power increase for 5% improvement over stock design? That's bad returns I would say. And I have doubts about the longevity of the card with that much power going through it,

This, paired with G.Skill Royals and that one crystalline heatsink NVMe is 2/3rds to a full Crystal/Ice themed build. All that's missing is a Mobo with crystal RGB flair and a case with a crystalline RGB theme. MSI just needs to bling out their TRX40 Creator or AM4 Creation mobos with more crystal-work, and all that'd be needed is a crystal case (probably from inWin).

And then I hope Steve ends up doing a crystal-themed build just to rant about the shift in design aesthetics from boring black boxes and half-functional aesthetics (like fancy NVMe heatsinks) and then raffle it off.

I for one applaud them in their creative use of post-consumer recycled aluminum foil. Say all you want but they’re doing their part...

Palit's finished product is produced in an OEM way, and you can think of it similar to gainward. I am real Korean and I am speaking through Google Translate.
