NVIDIA Releases GeForce 456.71 Game Ready Drivers
NVIDIA today released the latest version of its GeForce software. Version 456.71 WHQL comes game-ready for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War PC Beta, which includes not just optimization for the game, but also support for NVIDIA Reflex, a technology that works to reduce whole system latency. In addition, the drivers correct a handful of issues, including hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling resulting in lower performance for Divinity: Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition, a bug with G-SYNC enabled games triggering a black-screen in fullscreen mode, on certain Adaptive Sync displays; and Fortnite crashing on certain notebooks with RTX reflections and shadows enabled. Grab the drivers from the link below.

In fact, they have had off and on big troubles over the last 7 years ago, which contributed to what has mostly been my policy of only updating drivers several times per year. Even then it’s usually only a month after the latest one has come out. Lately those big problems seem to have reduced, causing me to update more frequently now.
HWInfo often showed me a greyed out core clock and 0.000V (this is now fixed)
i had artifacts in idle, they are fixed aswell
i had a black screen after i switched to a full screen application (it switched to it, 3 seconds later i got a black screen for like 10 seconds until it starts working again.)
all problems just disappeared for me. great driver :)
pick a 3080 TUF OC (because it was cheaper than MSRP)
put it in the shopping cart and order it with prime.
et voilà
yesterday in the late evening (that's around 12 hours ago for me in my time zone) was the 3080 TUF OC in stock with delivery on saturday.
