Cooler Master Rolls Out the MasterBox 520 Series Cases
Cooler Master on Thursday rolled out the MasterBox 520 line of mid-tower cases. A slight design uplift from the MasterBox 500, the 520 features a protruding front panel with a front-face that has a large mesh intake, as well as grills along the sides for additional air intake. Three CF120 ARGB fans along with an ARGB controller, come preinstalled. The right-side panel is made of tempered glass, inside, you'll get a conventional horizontally-partitioned layout. Compared to the MasterBox 500, you get an improved removable dust-filter bracket for the bottom PSU intakes, and a removable 3.5-inch drive-cage to free up room for DIY liquid-cooling gear.
The MasterBox 520 Mesh comes in two variants based on function—Mesh with an airy mesh front intake, and one with an acrylic front-panel; and their sub-variants based on color—black and white. The mid-tower measures 502 mm x 210 mm x 498 mm (LxWxH). The motherboard tray offers room for graphics cards up to 41 cm in length, CPU coolers up to 16.5 cm in height, and the PSU bay can take up to 20 cm-long units. Storage options include two 3.5-inch bays in a removable cage, and three 2.5-inch mounts. Ventilation includes either 3x 120 mm or 2x 140 mm top vents; either 3x 120 mm or 2x 140 mm front vents, and a 120 mm rear vent. You can mount up to a 360 mm or 280 mm radiator along the top and front panels. Front panel connectivity includes one each of USB 3.2 type-A, USB 3.2 type-C, and headset jack. The company didn't reveal pricing.
