SOAREVERSORLogitech is better known for peripherals. Go look at the top mice and stuff actually use are. It's not ROG anything. Zowie, logitech, Razer, Steelseries and they aren't cheap.

Because gamers are notoriously cheap and easily misled. Agree with your point on ROG peripherals but Logitech is just an accessible brand, not a top tier one. Their keyboards and mice are all horrible (except maybe the G Pro) because they add a bunch of customisable, gimmicky "gamer" buttons to everything. A mouse shouldn't look like a Lambourgini and have 19 customizable buttons, it's just stupid. Logitech peripherals only do well because of a) their marketing aimed at entry level gamers who don't know any better and b) their affordable price.

Their Bolt-enabled devices are nice, although they certainly aren't worth their ask price.

It's without a doubt the best purchase I ever made for my setup and 9 years on I don't even give a second thought to how much I spent.

I got my Aerons over 15 years ago and they are still champs. I don't think most gamers, or computer enthusiasts get what that company is. 1500 is fucking cheap for a Herman chair. This is not a usual chair company it's a professional, world class, featured in art galleries, the benchmark to what all else is compared, beast of a fucking chair. They don't make crap. The chair will out live you. My parents Herman lounging chairs are 6 grand a pop, in the 70's, before I was born. They'll outlive my parents, me, and the grandkids, probably their kids as well.

Hate to say it but buying a good chair is like buying a good set of knives. It's stupid expensive. But if you do it right you can pass it on again and again and again. You do get what you are paying for. Some shoddy 200 buck pile of crap or really any sub 1k thing isn't the same as a full blown industrial grade chair. IMHO your most sold investment is going to be a good chair and good desk. Worry about the computer later.

I use an MS Pro mouse, with the same damn sensor those others use just like when I played quake. Also have steelseries stuff.

I churned and burned through "cheap" desks and chairs before buying a 1600 retail Herman chair in my 30s (I did not pay that much) and tossing 2.5k at a desk. The difference is shocking. I wouldn't buy a non Herman chair now though in my early days churning and buring through multiple sub 200 buck chairs I thought a 1600 buck chair was lunatic. Little did I know this is a buy once and forget it item that is in a totally different class.

Get a good chair. You don't have to upgrade or replace it. They last for decades or in some cases hundreds of years. This is a no brainer investment.

Object55Should have collaborated with Asus, and made a proper ROG chair. Aint nobody buying Logi chair for more than 230.
