AMD Software Adrenalin 22.10.1 Drivers Released
AMD today released the latest version of the AMD Software Adrenalin drivers. Version 22.10.1 beta comes with optimization for "Overwatch 2," the hot new online shooter from Blizzard. The drivers also fix a couple of outstanding issues. The first one fixes "GPU for image processing" preference not being available in Adobe Lightroom, with graphics cards such as the Radeon RX 6000 series. The second one is an application crash experienced with "Street Fighter 6" beta. With this release AMD also acknowledges identifying several new issues, which it will fix in future releases.

I even started to wonder if I had made a mistake switching from NVIDIA to AMD. I mean, sure, the value of the 6700 XT was miles ahead of any NVIDIA-based graphics card when I purchased it a few months ago, but the driver situation sours the experience a bit.
post 22.7.x I have an issue where chrome and hardware acceleration is not doing great, no other app seems to be affected.
rx6800.
After the reboot, I was greeted with a low resolution screen, and the graphics card was disabled in the Device Manager. If I rebooted again directly, nothing would change. I would actually need to try to enable the graphics card in Device Manager, which would result in an error, but after a reboot then it would go back to normal. Until it happened again, and again...
I tried lowering the refresh rate of my primary monitor, plugging the monitors into different ports on the card, different settings in the driver, enabling/disabling Resizable Bar, different driver versions from the 22.xx.x, etc. Nothing helped. I came across a Reddit thread where people were saying that the entire 22.xx.x branch was a mess so I installed the latest 21.xx.x driver, and the issue went away.
The interesting part is, everything was perfectly fine for a few months while I was using two 1080p/60Hz Dell monitors. The issue started as soon as I replaced the primary monitor with a MSI MAG274QRF-QD.
The 22.5.1 is the only one that work for me....
Am I the only one ?
