I wounder if the manual says how many times you can bend it.

EDIT, good thing is that it has a 3 year warranty at least and on top of that it supposed to be G Sync and Freesync compatible.

And whatever you do, do not fold. Or mail it via the post office which will try the same.

is that the same ppi as 32" 4k? main reason I want 32" 4k is because I want there to be a noticeable improvement of PPI from 27" 1440p (also why I decided not to get LG C2 42") still too big, PPI is same as my 1440p. no real gains.

nope, it's lower, but i find fonts too small on my 34" wqhd. Enlarge that to 45" would be the other extreme.

that's why you use windows scaler for fonts, but in game that won't matter, in-game is all that matters to me so I want the ppi of 32" 4k

If they can make a niche 21:9 bendable display just like that, there is no excuse for there not to be a 16:9-16:10 simple 24-32" OLED monitor for the regular consumers with a bit deper pockets..

I'd really fancy the LG one untill the price was anounced. R800 would be perfect for my corner-setup, mig enough to cover my fov but not too big. Even with the useless-odd resolution it yould've worked... But not for net 1700-2000$... That's 2160-2540€s for me... Hell no... :kookoo:

This one is cut from the same glass panels as the the Evo panels in the new LG C2 (and late C1) lineup, $999:

This one is the same panel, but not bendable, $1,699:

What is Corsair doing? This is a showpiece for rich people. It isn't even a real monitor. $2000 LMAO. $1000 and then we'll talk.

This would have been the best monitor on the market if the resolution would have been something like 3840x1600p, or better, 5184x2160p.
But I guess on a 5K you cannot have 240Hz refresh rate yet...

And good luck sending it in the mail, the box that mine came is the sterofoam was badly damaged and maybe Corsair would have a box sent to you unlike LG will keep telling you that you can get one from FedEx\UPS took months of the BS and just ended up ordering a broken monitor and fixing it my self.

Fedex looked for weeks for one, and LG did say they would pay for the box but finding one, well good luck with that.

Damaged packaging and seeing how many 43UN700's are on ebay with broken screens, yeah not happening. Although it does mean i can typicaly get the part unless screen pretty dam cheap ha.

So 1st make sure you have some were to keep that large box and second make sure the shipping box is in good conditions as places like FedEx will take pictures, just in case it fails.

So not just committing to a big ol Monitor all so a even bigger box too HAHA!.

What engineering did corsair do? Looks like LG did the majority of it.

This would be great if they start cutting motherglass panel in 34-38 inch size.

My current 34 inch occupies 2/3 of working desk. 38 inch is max I could deal with. Plus, 42 inch display has lower ppi.
