Intel Releases Arc GPU Graphics Drivers 101.4091

Intel Graphics today released the latest version of the Arc GPU Graphics Drivers. Version 101.4091 adds support for the iGPUs of 13th Gen Core "Raptor Lake-P" mobile processors. The Intel Arc Control software now supports a standalone desktop mode. Among the handful issues fixed with this release, an application crash noticed in Warhammer 40,000: Darktide during the character-selection screen on Arc discrete GPUs, has been fixed. For the iGPUs of Intel Core processors (11th Gen and later), the drivers fix color/display corruption issues with Need for Speed Unbound and Battlefield 2042; and an intermittent application crash issue with Total War: Warhammer III. Grab the driver from the link below.

It reads as, every game that is currently relevant has issues....old gamers maybe as well but because not that many are playing those we dont have to adress that.

It's the same with AMD drivers and... sorry, I did not count the days... we had no new drivers for the older gen GPUs for ages now ;)

if you are a single monitor user, AMD is not too bad. I have had 0 issues with my 6800 XT in a variety of games, and that includes a heavy OC, I hit 2600 core boost consistently in games.

I will agree Nvidia is the best though. I wanted a 4080, but fuck that power connector and fuck the $1200 price tag.

The A770 does have 128 ROPs/256 TMUs (more than a RX 6800 non-XT!!) which everyone seems to be forgetting. If Intel can get their drivers to a mature state, it is possible for them to beat the RTX 3070's 96 ROPs/184 TMUs.

Looks like this will be finewine.
- They seem to have fixed idle consumption if you use the right powersetting.
- Good performanceuplift in most games, very good in some DX9-titles
- Possible to undervolt, one user got consumption of A750 down from 200-210W to 120-130W while retaining 90% of performance
- Control center more mature and better usability
