Themed controllers are one thing, but strapping a Glade Plugin on it has gone too far.
If I want a pizza-themed sensory experience whilst playing TMNT there can only be one.

So they smell like almost every other used controller. Why do we want to pay extra for this?

OK.... Anybody here in their 30's and older will most likely remember watching the original TMNT cartoon, the (good) movies, the toys, etc. We all remember how Donnie was the nerdy brain of the bunch, building handy gadgets and whatnot. So why, now, did they feel the need to parrot the stereotype that all geeky/nerdy types MUST wear glasses? Why does a mutant fucking turtle suddenly NEED TO WEAR GLASSES?!

Thanks to notorious UK busybody, Mary Whitehouse, the government here wouldn't even let the word "ninja" be used on kid's TV, so the credits had to be re-recorded using the phrase "Teenage Mutant HERO Turtles"! :kookoo:

Oh yeah, I remember this! They thought the word "Ninja" made it sound too violent for kid's TV and video games. That's one way you can tell old emulated TMNT games are PAL versions - "Ninja" will be "Hero" instead.

That's outright stupid. I guess I can be glad that I didn't spend my childhood in the UK.

Sounds like the same kind of people who whined about the violence in the first movie and got us the watered down second one. There's no blood or wounds in the first movie, but it's just "too violent for a kids' movie."

Mary Whitehouse was the 1960's-90's uber-Karen of the UK.

I like the first the most because it was the most like the comics of any of the turtle movies/shows and it was pretty amazing it got completed. If you have the inclination/time, you should look into the production history of it (number of videos can be found on YouTube). It was one of those passion projects that made it by the skin of its teeth.
