GameSir Shows Off G8 and X2S Type-C Mobile Game Controllers

Gaming peripherals brand GameSir showed off a couple of interesting mobile game controllers. These convert your smartphone into a handheld game console by wrapping a game controller around them. The X2S Type-C is a generational update to the popular X2, and comes with support for the iPhone 15 series. Its thumb sticks and analog triggers feature Hall effect sensors with anti-drift. In addition to the main body being adjustable telescopically to acommodate phones of different lengths, the USB-C connector itself moves sideways, so it can take phones where the USB-C port isn't perfectly in the center. The G8 features much of the same thing, including the Hall effect sticks and triggers; but comes with a more ergonomic design, and magnetic detachable face-plates.

Why would you need a port on top of your phone, when these controllers are designed for the phone to be in landscape mode?

Not every phone has the side buttons in the same location/side, this way the vol buttons would be below (for my sony),
which i would prefer.

ignoring that i havent seen stick drift on any controller i used (incl clones), after i calibrated (in win),
even on worn sticks (F1 tracks have mainly left turns)

FINALLY! They released a controller with the USB-C on the LEFT side instead of the right side. USB-C on the left side means that Foldable phones can be used with the other half of the foldable hanging on the top instead of the bottom.
