Jetway Releases the JF35-ADN1 Industrial Robotics Motherboards
Global leader in embedded computing, Jetway, today introduced the JF35-ADN1, a 3.5" SubCompact single-board powered by the Intel Processor N97 CPU. A versatile board, the JF35-ADN1 is primarily targeted towards the industrial robotics sphere, with Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV) being one application singled out as being particularly suitable. However, Jetway have stated that the board also contains the right combination of display capability and encrypted mobile networking capacity to power both machine vision and payment systems solutions.
The JF35-ADN1 boasts a range of high-speed interfaces for camera, sensor, and card reader connectivity, such as two RJ-45 ports for Intel I225-V running at 2.5GbE, as well as both USB Type-A and Type-C ports. Further, a total of eight USB 2.0 interfaces are evenly split between physical ports and internal connectors. It is worth noting that the JF35-ADN1's high-speed data acquisition for its intended deployment areas is enhanced by the board's support for up to 32 GB of DDR5 system memory via SODIMM. This connectivity, alongside the board's optional onboard TPM 2.0, make it a suitable candidate to develop payment system solutions. The JF35-ADN1 boasts an excellent selection of display outputs, comprised of two HDMI 2.0b ports alongside DP 1.4a, which is accessible via its USB Type-C port. With this selection, users have the option of up to three simultaneous 4K display outputs at 60 Hz. Additional display is available via an internal LVDS connector, colayed with eDP.
Illustrating the JF35-ADN1's suitability for AGV applications is its broad selection of internal connectors. The board hosts a total of six serial connectors, with one supporting RS-232/422/485, and the remaining five supporting RS-232 function. These are joined by an 8-bit GPIO, SMBus interface, and an audio header which Jetway notes can be utilized to produce a more user-friendly interface when deployed in payment system solutions.
The board hosts multiple storage options, made up of 64 GB eMMC, SATA support, and an M.2 2280 M-Key for NVMe. For further expansion, the board is equipped with a Nano SIM card slot, while users can install both Wi-Fi 6 and 4G/5G modules via the board's M.2 2230 E-Key and M.2 3042/52 B-Key, respectively.
The JF35-ADN1 is now in mass production and available for order via Jetway's contact page. To learn more about the JF35-ADN1, please visit its product page.
