Seasonic Intros Vertex Sakura Series Power Supplies

Seasonic unveiled the Sakura trim for the Vertex line of performance segment ATX 3.0 modular power supplies. The trim consists of a unique two-tone body for the PSU consisting of white on four sides, and cherry blossom pink on two (topside and rear), a Sakura printed graphic, an all-white 135 mm fan, and individually-sleeved modular cables that extend the two-tone color scheme of mostly white with cherry blossom pink for a quarter of the individual wires in each cable. Since this is the latest revision of the Seasonic Vertex ATX 3.0 series, it sees 12V-2x6 replace 12VHPWR as the high-Wattage GPU power connector.

The Seasonic Vertex Sakura debuts with a 1000 W model, the GX-1000 Special Edition Sakura. It offers 1000 W of continuous power with full ATX 3.0 and PCIe Gen 5 compliance, and 80 Plus Gold switching efficiency. Connectors include a 24-pin ATX, two 4+4 pin EPS, one 600 W-capable 12V-2x6, three 6+2 pin PCIe power, twelve SATA power (including three SATA 3.3), and a trio of legacy 4-pin power connectors. The package includes cable combs to deal with the individually sleeved cables, a handful Velcro ties, and some zip-ties. The PSU is backed by an industry leading 12-year warranty. Seasonic is confirmed to release the Sakura Special Edition in Japan. There's no information on general availability.

Well can't they make an April Fools themed PSUs for the West, to be sold in the same time period?

I like, comes with everything you'd get after buying custom sleeved cables.

For years I have been tormented by non-pink PSUs. I can finally put that past me. :peace:
(Just to be clear: I'll be waiting for the Hello, Kitty edition)

pretty nice looking, reminds me of an older blossom case but I cant find an image now, either way it would go nicely with it.

Considering the cables are sleeved as well I think it looks really nice, but how often do you see the PSU nowadays?
But at least Seasonic put in the effort, if the premium isn't too egregious I would've considered it if I was looking for a PSU.

Aw man, this would've gone perfectly with my granddaughters latest 5800X3D white out rig! Quite a bit over powered @1000 watts but aesthetically its right on the money. Maybe next time.

At 67 and a man I am not a fan but here in the USA if you want a White power supply from SeaSonic Good Luck as they don't sell them here so if the this in pink and white I think I would buy as it would look better in an all white build then Black Cables. SeaSonic to me makes the best power Supplies and I requested a White Vertex 1000 Watt from them (SeaSonic USA) and was told they don't sell them here in the US. Another thing I didn't See from SeaSonic was the $199 Price as it is $249 Here.

If you want a white high end power supply, Superflower sells a power supply that is similar quality to Seasonic.
I've been running it about 2 years.
Super Flower Leadex Platinum SE 1000W 80+ Platinum White.

Only complaint I have is the fan can be audible. If the new Noctua 14cm fan ever releases I was just going to put one in there.
