Dragon Quest Builders #1 Finally Reaches PC

A true blockbuster has come to PC—and we mean that strictly speaking! Dragon Quest Builders is out now for PC via Steam, with upgraded features and previously released DLC at no additional cost! Read on and we'll tell you all about it...The game is set in the world of Alefgard, a broken world where monsters roam the land and creativity is all but extinct. It's up to you to set things right, but as you're repeatedly told: you're not a hero. You're a builder. Over multiple areas, you'll rebuild this ruined world from scratch. You'll fulfil the many requests of the citizens of the world by gathering resources, constructing buildings, crafting items, battle dangerous bosses and ultimately make the world a better place one block at a time.

What is Dragon Quest Builders?
The game features a lengthy campaign where you'll complete multiple quests and play through a compelling story where the mysteries of the regions and world are revealed. You'll have to rely on your own wits and creativity to overcome the many challenges in each area, especially if you want to achieve the hidden bonus objectives too. While there's a tremendous amount of freedom in the main story, you can also indulge your creativity in the sandbox mode - a blank canvas of possibility where you can really push your imagination to the limit! It's an exceptional game, and the new PC version makes it even better with some awesome features and DLC from previous versions included.
The beloved block-building RPG, DRAGON QUEST BUILDERS, is bringing its handy crafting features to Steam! Weave your own tale as you build your own unique buildings and towns to restore Alefgard to its former glory!

What's available in the PC version?
Dragon Quest Builders on PC has some handy features, that make building a breeze. These include:
  • Mouse control - place blocks with a single mouse-click and destroy blocks and items more easily.
  • Undo button - a super-convenient new function that lets you restore your work. Mistakes are nothing to fear, and you can let your creativity run rampant!
  • Big Bash - originally introduced in DRAGON QUEST BUILDERS 2, this is now available in the original game! It allows you to simultaneously destroy multiple objects within a certain range, making it much faster to clear space or gather resources.
  • Collectibles - collectible items, such as NPC and monster figures, are available in-game.
  • Build Cards - this feature lets you convert your buildings and creations into Build Cards. You can share these with friends and vice versa - scan the cards to have your builds show up on their islands.
In addition to these handy additions, the 'Terra Incognita' DLC is included at no additional cost. Originally released for the mobile version, it adds loads of awesome extra content to the game, including:
  • Boss Monster Model Set - lets you unpack several giant posable monster figures that can be used in the Terra Incognita mode.
  • Astronomy Set - light up the night sky with ten stars and planets to bring the beauty of the galaxy to their backyard.
  • Pixel Ring - this is much more than a pretty accessory. Wearing this Pixel Ring grants a higher number of "pixels" when defeating an enemy in "Terra Incognita". You can use these pixels to create special items on the "Dragon Quest Game Pack" workstation.
  • Magic Carpet - use a magic carpet to observe, build, and explore your creations from the sky, as well as listen to special music as they travel.
