But I do agree the Cmd button for keyboard combos feels more naturally located than the Ctrl key.
But I see that alignment of the left Cmd key and X not always is a thing on keyboards that are supposed to be aimed at MacOS users. I don't see that on all Logitech's Mac keyboards (but some) nor on the keyboards from Keychron. Interesting...
Interestingly, I've looked at many keychron boards, and the one that I wanted but haven't "pulled the lever on" (yet) was the Alice Q10 Max, specifically because of the placement of the command key, and with the exception of the Feker Alice98, every other Alice layout I've seen is the Feker Alice80.
Yes, logitech makes a few, like the MX Keys, as a nice alternative to the Apple Magic Keyboard, but the peripheral market is really lacking in this category. I understand why, but I feel like there is a void in the custom KBD community that needs to be filled- perhaps some sort of multi-socketed PCB to allow for alternative bottom row placement and a smaller spacebar- I can't be alone in this.
I'm a software developer and MacOS is my preferred OS to work in (from a stability, security, accessibility, and productivity standpoint).
I'm a gamer too though, so yes I have a windows PC for that, but (in my humble opinion) that's virtually it's only marketable feature for consumers- obligatory meme
It has always been OS X/MacOS that has been the focus in the business I've been in. Also have a Windows machine at home for gaming, and while I think Windows does a couple of things better (the built-in window management for example, but there is always Rectange etc. for that on MacOS) I do agree think MacOS is the nicer OS overall for when it comes to so called productivity.
Really funny meme! :D
