CHERRY XTRFY Launches a New Version of the K4 Keyboard With the K4V2

CHERRY XTRFY, the specialist for high-quality gaming peripherals, is updating its successful K4 tenkeyless keyboard. The K4V2 is now available. Compact, with a high-quality, modern design and equipped with CHERRY's MX2A Red switches, it offers optimal performance for professional and casual gamers alike.

The K4 TKL keyboard series has tapped its way into the hearts of gamers since its first launch in 2019. Many esports teams rely on the dependable tenkeyless keyboard and have already won several tournaments with it in the past. Now the Major-winning K4 keyboard is getting an improved version: the K4V2. It is equipped with the new mechanical CHERRY MX2A switches, which ensure smoother typing with improved durability. This makes the K4V2 the first choice for gamers looking for a stable, high-performance keyboard with a practical design.
"With this launch, we're excited to introduce new versions of some of our most popular keyboards. Finally, the best-selling Xtrfy keyboard comes in an updated model featuring CHERRY's reinvented and pre-lubricated mechanical switches, MX2A. The K4V2 offers the same popular design that has been trusted by professional gamers for years, with a smoother typing experience than ever", says Joakim Jansson, Head of Product and Portfolio at CHERRY.
Thanks to impressive RGB lighting, customization in six zones with numerous color and effect options is easy and software-free. The 1000 Hz polling rate ensures instant registration of every keystroke, while full N-key rollover ensures that no keystrokes are missed - no matter how many keys are pressed simultaneously. With a metal plate construction, reinforced PCB and housing, and highly durable key switches, the K4V2 is designed for long-lasting performance at the highest level, making it a great choice for both amateur and professional gamers.
Prices and availability
On October 22, the keyboards will go on sale at selected partners in Europe as well as in the CHERRY and CHERRY XTRFY online stores. The K4V2 will be available in the classic colors white and black as well as in a retro colorway for 119 EUR/USD.

Nice and clean design and shinethrough keycaps look great, I like this. But at this point I only use low profile mechanical keebs since I find them much more comfortable and don't need a wrist rest. Currently using the Keychron K1 SE with brown opticals.

I have a K4 full size and my daughter a K4 TKL. We both love them. I know nothing of mechanical keyboards but I like it. Best RGB I've had - bright but doesn't spill out of the sides or underneath like so many others. I also like the software-less config. My "1" on the keypad has issues - no blue and a different colour from the rest so maybe i might look at this as a replacement. Sale at £70 I'd jump.

Cherry is a bit late to the party with their MX MULTIPOINT switches. Gateron's Magnetic line up have them beat at the moment.

Nice to see them continue this series post-acquisition. I have been using the original Xtrfy K4 TKL (in retro, with the orange contrast keys) for a while and absolutely love it, although the keycap paint had begun chipping off on several keys as of last year. :(

Really nice RGB, good board feel and has otherwise been a great performer. I just wish there was a way to just order more factory replacement retro style key caps from Xtrfy/Cherry.
