EK Launches Gold Edition Multipacks for Quantum Torque Fitting Series
EK, the premium liquid cooling gear manufacturer, is proud to launch the Torque series compression fittings 6-pack in a luxurious gold finish, available for both STC (Soft Tube Compression) and HDC (Hard Tube Compression). Recognizing the popularity and demand for these fittings, previously available only as single pieces, EK now offers them in convenient six-piece multipacks.
The fitting barb and the compression rings are first nickel-plated, followed by a second plating with genuine gold. Both are made of CNC-machined brass, and the seal is made of quality rubber O-rings. This addition enriches the Torque series, allowing the gold finish to complement the existing Nickel, Black, and Satin Titanium variants in six-pack offerings, providing a luxurious and comprehensive option for custom liquid cooling systems.EK-Quantum Torque 6-Pack STC - Gold
The EK-Quantum Torque 6-Pack STC (Soft Tube Compression) fittings are specifically designed for use with flexible soft tubing such as PVC, EPDM, Norprene, silicone, or any other type of compatible flexible tube. Featuring a non-intrusive yet striking look without added branding, these fittings can be personalized with interchangeable aesthetic color rings (sold separately). Offering an ideal solution for anyone looking to easily refresh the look of their liquid-cooled PC, these fittings are perfectly compatible with the EK-Quantum products series. The secure locking ring design ensures the flexible tube stays firmly attached, eliminating the need for hose clamps or substitutes.
The new gold finish is available for these STC fitting sizes:
Similarly, the EK-Quantum Torque 6-Pack HDC (Hard Tube Compression) fittings are tailored for solid tubing like Acrylic, PETG, Copper, Stainless steel, Glass, Carbon Fiber, or any compatible hard tube. They feature a minimalistic and elegant design, enhanced with the option to add a personalized touch using EK's color rings. The compression system ensures a secure and robust connection, safeguarding your setup.
The new gold finish for HDC fittings is available in the following sizes:
The EK-Quantum Torque 6-pack fittings, designed and engineered in Slovenia, Europe, are available for purchase through the EK Webshop or EK Partner Reseller Network. The table below shows the manufacturer-suggested retail price (MSRP), VAT included.

Wouldn't a TiN PVD coating over 'normal' fittings produce the same effect?
All for brass. Love brass and 'yellow alloys'. -right behind 'white alloys' like Aluminum, Stainless Steel, and Silver.
Just, curious...
I'll be checking the clearance isle for these around April fools... Sorry, can't help you with that one.
Tin just doesn't leave the same chic impression that gold plated brass does. Therefore no flashy EK news releases/headlines. Absolutely cannot have that! Must keep the brand at the forefront of every impressionable wcing mind possible.
TiN, is very very hard. It's the stuff they PVD drill bits and BCGs in.
Regardless of material for the coating chosen, how well it's adhered probably matters most. (I've seen many pics over the years of nickel finishes bubbling and flaking off)
@LabRat 891, thanks for clarifying this, for anyone thinking that common, everyday, el-cheapo "Tin" & the much more desirable & durable "TiN" are the same things.... they are NOT, and should never be confused with each other :D
And as with all things coated, plated, painted etc, the surface prep is the key 1st step, as is applying the next layers in nice thin coats and allowing it to dry thoroughly before applying the next/finish coating...
And knowing/having used EK's products like I do, I feel pretty confident in saying that they use a significant amount of care in finishing their products, as everything of theirs that I have or have had in the past has lasted many, many years without any degradation whatsoever....
And yea, their stuff aint cheap, but "you only get what you pay for" as the saying goes :)
Gold you can pawn them later
Notice how there's absolutely no mention of the thickness of that plating, nor 'Karat'?
~$13/fitting.
You could spend similar money on Industrial QD Fittings. Take some Blue Magic metal polish to the brass or bronze ones, and they'll be just as purdy.
Well just be happy they started with brass instead of their older magic metal mixture crap they used to preach don't use mixed materials and did it themselves in fittings and lord knows what else
That's not exclusive to EK stuff hell all computer hardware depreciates that amount after delivery and as time goes by accelerates hehe
