MSI Integrates AIO Liquid Cooler on Its New SUPRIM FUZION and EXPERT FUZION Graphics Cards at Computex 2024

MSI unveiled some rather interesting new graphics card series at the Computex 2024 show, and while hybrid liquid and air cooled graphics cards are not really new, we rarely see the whole AIO liquid cooler integrated on the graphics card itself, which is what MSI is doing now with the SUPRIM FUZION and EXPERT FUZION graphics cards. While MSI was quite keen to announce these as "the world's first graphics card with an all-in-one cooler design", ASUS did the same thing before with its ROG MATRIX RTX 2080 TI back in 2019, and now MSI is pushing a similar design with GeForce RTX 4090 and RTX 4080 SUPER graphics cards.

Nevertheless, the new MSI SUPRIM FUZION RTX 4090, which already won the Computex 2024 Best Choice award and was already leaked a few days ago, is based on the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 and comes with "patented liquid system enclosed within the graphics card". The MSI SUPRIM FUZION RTX 4090 will feature a triple-slot design with two fans, most likely one to cool down the AIO radiator, and the other to keep other components well cooled.
While we did not catch the SUPRIM FUZION RTX 4090 on the Computex 2024 show floor, we did have a chance to get close and personal with the MSI EXPERT FUZION version which comes with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER GPU, and it appears that the cooling system comes from Cooler Master. This one also features two fans but in a push-pull configuration, and also takes up three slots. The AIO system uses a low-profile pump, copper microfin baseplate with "thickened material for memory and GPU cooling", and a pretty cool shroud with aluminium die casting chassis that should strengthen the overall integrity of the graphics card.
MSI is still not ready to talk about the price or the availability date but hopefully, we'll see an official launch soon.

Is that Radiator enough for the GPU given there 360mm Radiator seems to be norm for AIO cooled 4090s? also how much will be helpful when the air is going to be recirculated inside the case compared to the conventional designs where the radiator is mounted in case separate from the GPU.

Now this is one really smart design. What I do want to know is how does the cooling perform vs an external AIO setup? Is some of the cooling sacrificed being smaller or is heat dissipated faster being so close? Lastly, will we have to wait 2 years for this version of the AIO in the 5090?

I see we must have been typing up similiar questions roughly the same time. I hope TPU can get a copy of this card for a deep dive as this is tech we need to know about!

I like the idea, and I'll wait for the tests/reviews, but I am doubtful of the effectiveness of this design overall, especially given what we already know about the heat coming off a 4090...

Probably, I would not be surprised if Ngreediya would restrict sales of the AIO versions until after they sell a bunch of regular 5xx series cards first, and only then allow the AIB companies to sell cards with this design so they can make even more cha ching, cha ching...., which will keep Jacket Man supplied with more new jackets well into '25-26 :(

Man, weird typo on MSI's part. 24G RTX 4080 Super.
