Omg finally! I can't wait to get back home from work and install this new driver! My screens freeze with my 5090 and 2 monitors after cold boot up when launching any app and will also freeze randomly too. Freezing has been happening from 20 sec to like 2 min if the keyboard/mouse are untouched. I haven't been able to complete a battle royal game in Fortnite because it would crash every, single, game! Overwatch 2 wouldn't even launch until I unplugged my second monitor, launched the game, and then could close the game and replug in the monitor. Boy!, OW2 would struggle to launch even after that. Then if I alt + tab-ed out of any game the 5090 would trip over itself over and over again and eventually let me out of the game. I have a G-Sync monitor and a compatible one, G-Sync hasn't been highlighting as being able to enable the whole time of ownership.
I'm hoping with this update that I'll see a performance improvement, as some games I benchmarked, like OW2, have lost avg fps compared to my previous 4090, by like 100+ fps!

Wow huge list of fixes. Went ahead and ran DDU to blow 572 off my PC completely. 576.02 is great so far no issues.

Lots of games have issues with NVIDIA drivers past 566.36 WHQL and since most gamers don't do simple research or basic debugging, they go raging in Forums / Discord / social media.
Some PR/Community teams resorted to general disclaimers.

Just mind-numbingly baffling how a corporation raking in money like that, is dropping the ball so hart to squeeze every possible cent for the bottom line…

They need a feature freeze on the drivers, and that includes gaming profiles, crack down on all the bugs and weird quirks before resuming features.

Better Than Native
Loads of 50 series users reporting performance increases with this driver, and issues fixed. I never had the issues mind you bar some weirdness with OC values applying in a very early driver, but a free ~7% extra or so does sound nice. Maybe the chap posting in the other threads over the past few weeks (architect?) was actually onto something.

Well I'm on my second 5080... First 5080 has all kinds of driver issues and constant crashing games. And in addition to that, the display port would just stop working and requires a hard restart. Second 5080 is a LOT better; however, Control (the game) still freezes and requires a hard restart. Hopefully one of these upcoming driver updates will fix the stability.

Nvidia installer crashes out for me at start and then NVCleaninstall says its complete, but it sure isn't, using the usual settings, tried several times, going from 572.83.

4000 series should not upgrade to these drivers, they still have significant issues. The mods on the Nvidia reddit are doing their best to delete issue posts as usual:

This driver seems to have fixed Marvel Rivals, which is a huge plus. This weekend I'll check the stability of other games - Control still broke broke tho.

This driver don't fix Monster hunter, it adds crash. Some user report this on steam, reddit and NVIDIA forum

I have an RTX 5090 Aorus master. With this driver, the game has several crashes and become unplayable.

With old driver, I had no crash

There hasn't been a good driver for an Asus Astral 5080 yet... I wish I had a driver that just worked. ...I miss Radeon...

***Edit - Marvel Rivals just crashed. Not as often, but it happens***

It definitely still does tried it yesterday an was crashing wanna say 5-10 matches in everytime with ultra settings lumen on but no hardware rt on. I have seen on reddit that 561.09 is pretty stable for fortnite an have tested it myself an can say it hasn't been crashing no longer for me at least. This was with both doing a clean install of the driver than trying to reinstall it again but first using ddu in safe mode to remove all previous drivers an than try the latest update again an was still crashing.

I'm running a 5080 and the latest driver. One of my monitors still goes to black, and throws a displayport error. Happens at least once for every boot, a couple of minutes after login. But at least it's no worse than I can just turn the monitor off and on again, then everything works fine until the next boot (I'm oldschool and turn my pc off when I leave it for a period of time).
Since it takes a few minutes to trigger and it only happens once, I would say this is not actually a real displayport error. Must be the driver (or a service/whatever related to the driver) that does "something" after a few minutes and then never again.
