Battlefield 6 First Trailer Reveals the Thrilling Future of the Iconic Series

Today, Electronic Arts Inc. and Battlefield Studios unveiled the reveal trailer for Battlefield 6, providing the world's first full look at the ultimate all-out warfare experience. The trailer offers a first look at Pax Armata, a Private Military Corporation bankrolled by former NATO states whose agenda threatens to throw the world into global conflict. This sets the scene for what players can expect on the battlefield - both in multiplayer and the return of the series' single player campaign.

In Battlefield 6, the series' incredible blend of visceral combat, epic warfare, and player freedom returns. Blow through walls and bring down buildings for a tactical advantage or take to the skies in white-knuckle dogfights. Take part in a war filled with tanks, fighter jets, and sweeping combat at a grand scale but remember: the deadliest weapon is your squad.
You won't have to wait long to learn more about Battlefield 6.

On Thursday, July 31 at 11:30 AM PDT / 14:30 PM EDT, a blockbuster multiplayer reveal event will be held live with the developers from Battlefield Studios. This is the biggest moment in Battlefield history, and it's one you won't want to miss.

This epic showcase will lift the curtain on Battlefield 6's much-anticipated multiplayer features and demonstrate why this is the most ambitious title in the series' history, with an explosive showcase of some of the jaw-dropping maps players will battle across, the suite of modes both new and returning, and much much more.

Following this broadcast, your favorite first-person shooter creators will also be sharing the first ever Battlefield 6 gameplay streams, revealing unprecedented access to the game, with talent joining in from live events all over the world, from Los Angeles, Berlin, Paris and London - with a follow up event occurring in Hong Kong on August 2.

The event will be available to stream live on YouTube and Twitch and accessible during and after the event for at least 12 months at ea.com/news.

Battlefield Studios are a united team comprised of many of the best developers in FPS working as a single unit to build the future of Battlefield. This team includes Criterion Games, DICE, Motive Studio, and Ripple Effect.

"unprovoked attack" ... i laughed at this for some reason.

Ive played the alpha, but i dont see yet, how this could be better than 2042. All i am saying, its definitely not a preorder, those times are over. I had all the battlefields until now on day0. But this, i will only get some weeks after release. Maybe.

Do we get a scoreboard this time, or is that too intense for players.

Hopefully this one will be about a believable war scenario, and not a playground for kids. My hopes are on the ground, tho.

@WhiteNoise single player on this will probably be good, but it just reminded me how much I would love a massive campaign and not a small one, particularly ala Infinite Warfare 2... I know you liked the first campaign due to my recommendation, it really is a shame CoD campaigns got overlooked, I always thought they were fun. I would love a massive Battlefield 6 or Infinite Warfare 2 campaign. Something tells me it is only going to be like 8 hours long through :(

Yeah I'm also only interested in the single player part of these games and I think I've played almost all of them at this point, played the more recent ones on gamepass in the past year or so and they were kinda fun to me even if rather short.

The trailer is awesome
The music is awesome
I feel a return to the roots, to the source of the franchise

The issue is that I said the exact same thing when BF2042 was revealed :)...

Fingers crossed this time because I genuinely like this franchise

It is incredibly unlikely that we'll have something like that. The direction is just not pointing there.
A 10 hour well-built campaign as a teaser would be great though. Haha. Even that is too high an expectation.

If there's a decent singleplayer experience one should be content as how things stand.

..or even if there were enough properly functioning content(and a well working Anti-cheat system) solely for the MP, that would be enough to me.

They use it to hide the low level of optimisation and low framerate - motion blur decreases the textures resolution and makes the scenes lighter on the shaders.

I hope this is good as I would love to dust off my PS5 Pro for some BF action. Its been a long time since I've enjoyed this genre.

Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me hundreds of times, you might be the gaming industry!

NEVER believe trailers. Always wait for reviews, and the first month of patches, to see how they ruin it.

I can hear the developers clutching their pearls and running to Bluesky to leave vague comments

Ok ill be honest, when the theme kicked in....yeah that was cool, it was all generic nonsense up to that point.
Also the model of the president looks very dated.

Would be nice if for once Murica was portrait as the agressor

I was sort of expecting a more realistic war scenario, but my expectations for this game aren't very high. If it isn't much better than BF2042 then EA isn't going to get 100 million players like they want to.
Not pre-ordering is the key but a lot of people will just to play the game a week or so early.

Or an in-game chat.

All the destruction makes me remember the good days of BFBC2 when battlefield actually had destruction mechanics, or battlefield 4's "level-ution" system, instead of CoD like invincible buildings.

Problem there is the game would just be you getting your arse kicked repeatedly by an enemy you cant see.

:D

Some battlefield 2142 action would be nice, or maybe 3142? Go so far in the future none of the current countries are left standing. Or maybe battlefield set on another planet in the age of space exploration?

Or go the opposite direction, give us battlefield 1943 again, as battlefield 1944. Simple, pick up and play, three basic classes, no customization, simple gameplay. That game was received SO well......

Let's see the open beta before making any conclusions. Leaked gameplay looked alright, though I'm not entirely sold on what looked like faster TTKs and assault rifles that are deadly effective so far out. Destruction is somewhere between 3 and 4 but not on the BFBC2 levels.

I'm disappointed that it has a single player. I want the BFs of old with no single player/small focus on it. If I want single player I'll play something else.

Battlefield has not been Battlefield since BF4 for single player (people hate a single player story?) and far before that for online. Its not Battlefield anymore. I wish.

Played the PreAlpha. it was amazing. I cant wait for this and I have not cared for a BF game since BF4, last one that I really put hours of time into was BF3, BF4 was a boring remake and I wasn't about it, I was so excited for the launch of BF4 and after it came out I was like really "what is this a remake?" and after that I quit bothering with day 0 game launches.
BC2 was the best BF in history and I played hundreds of hours of that game, was so great!

Same here, played 1k+ hours in all BF games, and the only one I skipped was 2042. I played the alpha and decided it wasn't headed in a good direction.

Battlefield 1 was a masterpiece (MP was ruined by cheaters, at least on PC, as was the case with all installments).
