Thermaltake Soprano FX Case Launched

Thermaltake has presented a new case in its Soprano series, the Soprano FX. This case is an excellent choice for both home users and power gamers. The Soprano FX structure features up to ten 5.25" drive bays, eight 3.5" drive bays, 120mm silent fans at front and rear and 90mm fans on top and back. As expected, the chassis is able to support extended ATX form factor motherboards. Moreover, the Soprano FX has improved the versatility of the power switch, it can be moved around up and down on the front panel, depending on the preferences of the user. Additionally the new case offers built-in eSATA connector on the front I/O panel and optional side 23cm fan.

Same case as the Armor & Kandalf, with the addition of an esata and black tooless clips instead of the clear/green/purple. I guess they are going to milk this design some more. Don't get me wrong, I love the case design(as I have the Armor), but I'd like to see them come out with something new in a full tower, not a refresh of a 2-3 year old one.

Make it third!

But there's a design flaw with 1 fan in and 3 fans out (+PSU), crazy underpressure and it will be filled with dust in a week. (or dust filter gets clogged). Without that top fan and 2 intake fans it would be perfect. But got to love that out take fan next to PSU, first time I've seen one.

Now I have 2 80mm intake, one 80mm top and 92mm rear and it's quite good. Bigger fans would just do better with same noise.

Aye, overall the Armor/Kandalf is good stuff, sturdy too. A little kid could run head on into one and they'd bounce back across the room.

Though, I don't see the appeal of this. If it had a front mounted RAD maybe..

I don't like it, the armour is the only good case from TT imo. Most of their other ones look cheap... I prefer clean lines on a case, like something from antec or LL.

Don't flame me, its just my opinion.... :)

Good point, didn't look too closely at the front. Don't like doors at all, it will just be in the way every time and like you said limit already the limited intake capasity. *sticks with own case*

Meh, canned air is cheap. I run a total of 7 120mm fans without filters. I just clean my system regularly.

Like most Soprano cases, the front should be detachable with a couple of screws. Not much to worry about :).

I have luckily so small holes in the metal mesh infront of intake that it collects the dust there, and only a finger is needed for cleanup =) (and yes, canned air is great for inside cleaning).
