(SCEA), publisher of the Gran Turismo series, the world's best selling racing game franchise with over 47 million units shipped worldwide, hosted the fifth annual Gran Turismo Awards last night in conjunction with the 2007 SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) auto show in Las Vegas. This year's highly anticipated event featured a distinguished line-up of automotive entries from top SEMA show exhibitors representing five categories, all vying for the coveted "Best in Show" title, which went to Marcel Horn for his 2007 Audi TT. For the top honor, Marcel Horn's exceptional 2007 Audi TT will be immortalized as a featured vehicle in a future iteration of the Gran Turismo franchise, allowing millions of fans worldwide to race his vehicle. Last year's Best in Show award winning 1960 Chevrolet Corvette will be unveiled in Gran Turismo 5 Prologue, available on PS3 computer entertainment system in North America in 2008.

Let's hope the game does his car justice :)
But hey, it actually shines as much as cars in the game :P
i've always dug the 'performance-through-lightness' philosophy lotus always had...
I think i only gave up on N4S:U.D when i entered a race where the CPU also had a mazda Mx-5...needless to say i wasnt the Drift King anymore....I was beaten by the same car i was driving
Audi TT still looks cool though. Plus twin turbos in a TT...who would've thought lol
I took a photo of Wile E's car..

Besides, you don't have to talk to me about the quality of Japanese cars, I'm the one that had a turboed 7th Gen Celi GT-S, remember? Currently have an '04 Sentra SE-R Spec-V.
the people who actually pioneered the whole overhead twin-cam and 4 valves per cylinder engines, are bentley.
and they did it back in the 1920's. (sounds a bit far-fetched, i know, but feel free to look it up)
so to correct your statement:
there'd be no 16v twin cam engines if it weren't for those crazy brits.
and on a side note, they (well, not exactly bentley, but some of the ye-olde 'bentley boys') also pretty much pioneered the concept of forced induction engines. feel free to look that up as well.
