Valve Confirms More Team Fortress 2 Content, 'More Portal', and Cake

Valve developer Doug Lombardi recently promised gamers everywhere something that is sure to be appreciated: "more Portal". What exactly consists of "more" is still in the works, but Lombardi promised something else while we wait: brand new download-able Team Fortress 2 Maps, which will arrive for all platforms, for absolutely no charge. Valve has not said anything about possible release dates, but they have unveiled a "juicy" little tidbit about Episode 3:
In Episode One I think we left people with some big questions. After Episode Two people saw it was going somewhere. With Episode Three we want to live up to the promise of where we are taking things to; there's a lot of work being done to make sure we deliver on that promise. Exact details on what's next for Gordon are a way off; probably months not weeks.
We'll keep you posted as this shapes up.

TF2 is overrated imo. It's like Tiny Toons on crack with guns.

crack and guns.... they go together well :D

Nah these games would have grabbed my lacking attention span longer if its werent just a pretty version of pacman... (limited area to walk around and shoot... limited axis of movement and weaponry).

The graphics are sweet though and look shiny and fantastic on my 24" samsung... but graphics arent everything... I still remember the playability of "Starsiege Tribes" even though the graphics were shit... spent thousands of hours mastering that online!

Some might not like TF2, some might not like HL2, some might even hate Portal (beats me why!), but the Orange Box is a nice deal alltogheter in today's world filled with micro-transactions and demos that cost as much as finished games (GT5 Prolgue, I'm talking to you!).
More good news comes from the fact that Valve actually updates the game pretty often and even adds new content for FREE! Woohoo, good job dudes!

Well said Shiny! Valve's continued focus on their titles really sets them apart from other developers (which only release sequels or the occasional patch).

Although the gameplay in TF2 can't appeal to everyone and isn't exactly fresh, (hell, it's technically a 9 year old game now) Valve at least makes it the best it can be and takes care of their core audience.

TF2 owns. I am proud to have a game that has free maps and upgrades unlike EA and BF series.
