Valve to Split The Orange Box on April 9th

Valve has confirmed to Joystiq that The Orange Box -Valve's acclaimed compilation containing Portal, Team Fortress 2, and Half-Life 2: Episode 2 - will be split into separate PC titles on April 9th. Valve has yet to officially announce pricing details, but retailers currently list Portal at $19.99 and the other two packages at $29.99 each. Expect more details soon.

this was rumored during the TF2 Beta. Orange Box is still a bargain.

Its cheaper to buy the orange box, and you get 2 games to give/sell to some one.

Wow those prices seem steep.
I would think that Portal would of had been $10 and the others $20.

Agreed, especially when Amazon had the Orange Box for 29.99 a few weeks ago:rockout:. No way I'd pay for these games individually, that be ridiculous.

Portal is a great game, but not worth $20. I really don't know why you wouldn't just buy the Orange Box. I already had HL2 and HL2 Episode 1, but thought spending $50 for Episode 2, TF2, and Portal was a great deal.

well im glad they did this actully, i did buy the orange box just for EP2, but i do enjoy TF2, but i still prefer CSS
