ATI press release includes ATITool

ATI has put out a Press Release in which they talk about the 1 GHz X1800 overclock of Sampsa and Ville.

What I really like, is that on the linked screenshot you can see ATITool take like half of the screen.

Thanks ATI, for the free PR and no help/info at all to develop ATITool - the tool which made this OC possible. Your own app didn't work for more than 860 MHz.

yeah it'd be cool if they would "assist" you in developing it..

but they may not "help" you because then someone could go out and say that the screenshot was rigged because they developed the stuff too..

keeps credability up :)

Although some help should come from this much use of it.. geez :wtf:

Sappire & ATI should pay him for making the GTO2 so popular.
Everyone can reach these results with the proper cooler. You dont even need a voltmod because it's possible to increase the core voltage from the BIOS/ATITool.

Maybe you could offer to license ATITool to ATI forr some good cash, ATI include a simple automated version in their drivers, instead of that crappy program they have now (forgot what it was called)
:toast:

Maybe patent the model of how ATITool's auto-detection works? Never trust a corporation.

you should make a complaint and ask that any time your software is used for ATI PR, that you are given thanks and this site linked to. Its free program so theres limits, but you should get credit.
