BFG Technologies Announces OC2 and OCX GeForce GTX 280 Graphics Cards
BFG Technologies, Inc., the leading North American and European supplier of advanced NVIDIA-based 3D graphics cards, power supplies and other PC enthusiast products, announced today, the BFG GeForce GTX 280 OC2 and the BFG GeForce GTX 280 OCX factory overclocked graphics cards.
With the launch of each new NVIDIA graphics processing unit (GPU), BFG typically releases three increasing levels of factory overclock: OC, OC2, and OCX. All BFG factory overclocked graphics cards go through extensive testing to find the right mix of speeds for the core, memory, and shader clocks that will produce the best performance and uncompromised stability at each level. As with all BFG Tech graphics cards, the BFG GeForce GTX 280 OC2 and OCX versions are backed with 24/7/365 free technical support and a lifetime warranty."The OC2 and OCX variants of the BFG GeForce GTX 280 graphics card are designed for PC gamers who want the most performance out of their graphics card without the risk and hassle of overclocking themselves", said John Malley, senior director of marketing for BFG Technologies. "Other companies have followed our lead by offering overclocked graphics cards, but I believe the relatively complex process we put our OC2 and OCX cards through to determine the optimal speeds for the core, memory, and shader clocks results in a more stable, better performing card overall."

6 Comments on BFG Technologies Announces OC2 and OCX GeForce GTX 280 Graphics Cards
the consumer market is divided into different 3 groups:
Average Joe - who doesnt want anything too flash & wants something that is spot on for the job for the right money & nothing more.
Enthusiasts (in other words 'US') - who will look at a card like this & think yeah its not all that. grab a standard X260/280 without all the song n dance, slap your own cooler into it & Ntune/Ati tool is your friend to match the same speeds if not even better
Enthusiasts with jobs - the 'upper end' of the food chain. people who have too much money on their hands & guts to pick up on of these cards & O/C it till it catches fire
I can hardly see an average user picking up 1 of these - actually its so retarded that i can imagine it. an Average joe trying to be part of the enthusiasts crowd
