instead of making a new release that has new skins on them (Guildwars, Pax 08, etc) why dont they just make a mouse that has a changeable exterior? something like what Nokia did with their phones back then..

I smells an overrun in production..

Why do companies actually think people will buy something just because it has flashy colors. Ok, well people ARE fickle, granted, but only to a point.

Now, if they said "all previous DA owners, send in your registration and get this model free" (or maybe half price), then that's a good marketing ploy.

Beyond that.. why bother?

I'd take it if they offered an upgrade program for my DiamondBack. Which I love, but the sides buttons are pants.

I'm gonna cop a feel on the new MS mouse if I see it in the stores.
