- Force Component Video Detection - this feature allows users the option in Catalyst Control Center to force Component Video detection in the Display Options aspect. By selecting this option user are able to adjust the Component Video property settings (without a device being physically attached) allowing user to change format and frequency to a desired value. I will be downloading this tonight!
When I flashed my 4870 to a TOP bios with the clocks set in RBE to 820/1000, I couldn't get clock switching on any driver past 8.7 (it got stuck in 2d mode, 500/1000)
but I set it to default clocks for the TOP bios, and overclocked it in CCC and it fixed it.
Might be nowhere near your problem, but I couldn't find any documentation on my problem so I figured I'd throw that out there for you guys.
Will be trying these tonight!
-can anyone confirm this?
basically, if i upgrade to these will i have to go through the ball ache of taking one card out, then booting up, installing drivers, restarting, installing second card, enabling crossfire, rebooting again etc etc ?
Before I install these I am going to run a few 3d tests in 1920x1080 and post before-after results for HD3k users.
