NVIDIA GeForce 182.08 WHQL Released - Adds Support for GeForce GTS 250
Get ready to download some new NVIDIA drivers. GeForce release 182.08 brings WHQL support for all GeForce 6, 7, 8, 9, and 200-series desktop GPUs. This driver adds support for GeForce GTS 250, and new SLI profiles for the latest games.

but I am going by the only card I know for sure uses the same pcb because tpu's gts250 review is the first detailed 250 review I have seen
What I was meant to be referring to was the reference GTS250, which looks like 8800GTS 512's.
And maybe this will take you guys by surprise, but Ati's HD 4850, HD4870 and HD4870 X2 TOO have the same GPU inside!!! Are the same cards then?? Think about it...
I can agree that Nvidia is giving too much freedom to their partners concerning non-reference designs though. It's just an excuse for partners to sell their old designs as new card.
