New, smaller Shuttle PC
Shuttle, the number one SSF manufacturer, has revealed the new, small, sleek, and silent XPC X100. It has a footprint of a A4 piece of paper, and is just 4,5 cm high. "So what" you say? "VIA has miniITX" you say? Well the difference here is, that this small unit packs quite a punch: 1.83GHz Core Duo T2400 processor; 512MB of dual-channel DDR 2 SDRAM; ATI Mobility Radeon X1600 graphics on an MXM module so it's upgradeable; 250GB Serial ATA II hard drive; HD Audio; Gigabit Ethernet; 802.11a/b/g Wi-Fi; four-in-one memory card reader; one front- and three rear-mounted USB 2.0 ports; DVI, TV-out and S/P DIF ports; and a six-pin Firewire connector. All this run on a 120W fanless powersupply. So go right ahead, take this puppy to the next LAN party.
