The Intel Atom E645C was a mobile processor with 1 core, launched in November 2010. It is part of the Atom lineup, using the Stellarton architecture with BGA 1466. Thanks to Intel Hyper-Threading the core-count is effectively doubled, to 2 threads. Atom E645C has 512 KB of L2 cache per core and operates at 1000 MHz. Intel is building the Atom E645C on a 45 nm production process using 47 million transistors. The multiplier is locked on Atom E645C, which limits its overclocking capabilities. With a TDP of 4 W, the Atom E645C consumes extremely little energy. Intel's processor supports DDR2 memory. This processor features the GMA 600 integrated graphics solution. The SSE4 instruction set is not supported, which can cause problems with modern games, as they require that capability. Hardware virtualization is available on the Atom E645C, which greatly improves virtual machine performance.
