The Intel Atom Z2460 is a mobile processor with 1 core, launched in January 2012. It is part of the Atom lineup, using the Penwell architecture with BGA 617. Atom Z2460 has 512 KB of L2 cache per core and operates at 1300 MHz. Intel is making the Atom Z2460 on a 32 nm production node using 140 million transistors. The multiplier is locked on Atom Z2460, which limits its overclocking potential. With a TDP of 3 W, the Atom Z2460 consumes extremely little energy. Intel's processor supports DDR2 memory. This processor features the GMA integrated graphics solution. The SSE4 instruction set is not supported, which can cause problems with modern games, as they require that capability.
