The Intel Core i3-4010Y is a mobile processor with 2 cores, launched in June 2013. It is part of the Core i3 lineup, using the Haswell architecture with BGA 1168. Thanks to Intel Hyper-Threading the core-count is effectively doubled, to 4 threads. Core i3-4010Y has 3 MB of L3 cache and operates at 1300 MHz. Intel is making the Core i3-4010Y on a 22 nm production node using 1,400 million transistors. The multiplier is locked on Core i3-4010Y, which limits its overclocking potential.
With a TDP of 12 W, the Core i3-4010Y consumes very little energy. Intel's processor supports DDR3 memory. This processor features the Intel HD 4200 integrated graphics solution.
Hardware virtualization is available on the Core i3-4010Y, which greatly improves virtual machine performance.
