The AMD E2-3000M was a mobile processor with 2 cores, launched in December 2011. It is part of the E2 lineup, using the Llano architecture with Socket FS1. E2-3000M has 512 KB of L2 cache per core and operates at 1800 MHz by default, but can boost up to 2.4 GHz, depending on the workload. AMD is making the E2-3000M on a 32 nm production node using 1,178 million transistors. The multiplier is locked on E2-3000M, which limits its overclocking potential. With a TDP of 35 W, the E2-3000M consumes only little energy. AMD's processor supports DDR3 memory with a dual-channel interface. This processor features the Radeon HD 6380G integrated graphics solution. Hardware virtualization is available on the E2-3000M, which greatly improves virtual machine performance.
