The Intel Pentium 3550M is a mobile processor with 2 cores, launched in September 2013. It is part of the Pentium lineup, using the Haswell architecture with Socket G3. Pentium 3550M has 2 MB of L3 cache and operates at 2.3 GHz. Intel is making the Pentium 3550M on a 22 nm production node using 1,400 million transistors. The multiplier is locked on Pentium 3550M, which limits its overclocking potential. With a TDP of 37 W, the Pentium 3550M consumes only little energy. Intel's processor supports DDR3 memory. This processor features the Intel HD integrated graphics solution. Hardware virtualization is available on the Pentium 3550M, which greatly improves virtual machine performance.
