The Qualcomm Snapdragon X1E-78-100 is a mobile processor with 12 cores, launched in April 2024. It is part of the Snapdragon X lineup, using the Elite architecture with Qualcomm BGA 2073. Snapdragon X1E-78-100 has 6 MB of L3 cache and operates at 3.4 GHz. Qualcomm is making the Snapdragon X1E-78-100 on a 4 nm production node, the transistor count is unknown. The silicon die of the chip is not fabricated at Qualcomm, but at the foundry of TSMC. The multiplier is locked on Snapdragon X1E-78-100, which limits its overclocking potential.
