The Intel Celeron 220 was a desktop processor with 1 core, launched in October 2007. It is part of the Celeron lineup, using the Conroe architecture with Socket 479. Celeron 220 has 512 KB of L2 cache and operates at 1200 MHz. Intel is making the Celeron 220 on a 65 nm production node using 105 million transistors. The multiplier is locked on Celeron 220, which limits its overclocking potential. With a TDP of 19 W, the Celeron 220 consumes very little energy. Although the processor doesn't come with integrated graphics, certain motherboards with compatible chipsets can provide this capability. The SSE4 instruction set is not supported, which can cause problems with modern games, as they require that capability.
