The Intel Thermal Analysis Tool (TAT) provides capabilities to
analyze an OEM's thermal design. The tool provides two distinct
functions - it works as a system monitor and as a workload test
tool.  In monitor mode, the user can watch and log thermally important
data. In the workload test mode, the tool performs a test that can
provide an indication of the thermal performance capability of a
particular mobile system.   The Intel Thermal Analysis Tool supports the following Microsoft*
operating systems:    Windows* XP Home/Professional
   Windows XP 64Bit edition
   Windows Vista The Intel Thermal Analysis Tool supports the following genuine
Intel mobile processors:    Pentium-M (CPUID: 6EX)
   Pentium-M (CPUID: 6Fx)
   Pentium-M (CPUID: 66X, Extended Model: 1)
     
The Intel Thermal Analysis Tool supports only Intel chipsets.
