unless your goal is to become a paid reviewer in time for a game site and quit your present job.
That's the plan. You'd be surprised how many game reviewers work multiple jobs. Just last night I was playing with a writer for one of Poland's top gaming sites. He was telling me how most of their writers, particularly in the gaming sector, work multiple jobs because it's so difficult to earn a living wage. It may take years, but it's a dream job. If I get there in the end I'd consider it worth it.
I do get paid, but not a living wage. NPU is a very small site, so my earnings are closely tied to its improvement. If I work hard and bring in quality content, the site grows, and money grows. If I do a crap job, well, I don't think I'd be writing for them anymoreTell the developers that you're not getting paid
That said (and more closely on topic), I don't really get time to play games like Witcher 3 in my free time. It requires tremendous time investment. I still jump into warframe a few hours a week, and very occasionally get to play games I end up enjoying for a week straight.
