This game can be pretty fucked up. They sent out some premium codes via email which did not work. Half a week later and zero support on the forums, with the only condescending reply being "check your inventory". I mentioned that I did not see them in the OP. Fine, forum is visited by brain dead retards. Cut your losses. Then I tried to upgrade half a vehicle with global rep. Just half of it. I entered the amount I wanted to enter, exactly half. It proceeds to use all of my global rep to level it up 100%. That is beyond fucked up. I'd get a refund, but this game was free. Potential players beware. Game is broken and run by scamming developers. Fuck Obsidian. May fuck be upon them and I hope the game is dead by the summer, which won't be a hard feat seeing as there are all but 3 people left playing PvP anyways. I hope they lost millions of dollars and their employees and their families end up rotting on the street.
Uh...OK?
It's a free-to-play MMO...I see no reason for them to pool half of their resources into ensuring that a free code event works 100%. It's free, a gratuitous promise if you will. If you do the slightest bit of research, you might find that half of all other popular MMOs in this category such as WoT and WT will "shaft" you in the exact same way. It should be common sense that if you don't want to risk this kind of treatment, you simply have to go
buy a game like BF. No one's paying you to stay here.
It confuses me how one can find problems with the global rep advancement slider; you literally click and drag left and right. It's not like global rep is so precise that it needs to be measured with a measuring spoon.
This game is about the grind, as is every other MMO. Many players such as myself are, rather than spiteful and filled with hatred,
grateful that this game is not pay-to-win. Even with a regular injection of gold, reputation has to be earned. If you believe that the game is broken, then all I can say is that you would be grateful that you did not witness the game in a state of true "brokenness", six months ago, though that's something I don't suppose you would appreciate.
I've posted in the forum extensively before about broken technical aspects of the game, and I got nothing other than dozens of reasonably polite, thoughtful responses in response to my original post from both other users and staff. Perhaps your approach needs a little work.
I would kindly remind you that it's kind of excessive (not to mention immature) to be wishing poverty and death upon anyone, but I don't suppose you'd listen anyways. If you had paid attention to our past posts or threads on the forum, you would realize that the publisher My.com is responsible for whipping OE into making whatever they want, and that Obsidian is not the reason behind the 0.15 fiasco, but I doubt that you have as if that were the case, you wouldn't be wishing that OE devs "lost millions of dollars and their families end up rotting on the street."
We've always tried to help you with whatever questions/issues you might have had with the game; although I completely respect your opinion and your decision to leave this game, why don't you part with it in a reasonable way instead of shitting all over it for everyone else just because you didn't have the patience to grind and foresight/skill to play through a still-in-BETA game? We're on TPU after all and it seems a little out of place to rage in front of us rather than to the devs, innit?
