Not a technical issue, but can we please get some more Moderates in the News section..
The amount of Trolling and Fan boy whining is irritating to read.
surely you can have more than just Ravenlord in the News section of the forums.
Someone needs to go over the comments posted or at least screen them

i'm not a mod of the news, so i have to try and talk nicely to them. it uhh, often goes poorly.
moderating gets fun because you either try and talk to people and result in threads going off topic, or delete posts and get accused of being a censoring nazi.
i'm not a power tripper, so its genuinely frustrating when you run into those people over and over.

I feel ya. Been staff on a couple other sites. It's tough to balance freedom of expression/opinions VS keeping the site clean of nonsense. Ultimately, the site needs must take priority. Letting things turn into a crap-show is just not good for any site.

Not sure if others have mentioned this, but I have a small gripe with the bell notifications mechanism.
Let's suppose I have 9 notifications when I log in.
3 of those are from one thread(say replies and reactions from others).
When I click on one of those, the 9 just disappears. It should instead show 6.
It should only discount the notifications which I have seen, not assume I've seen all of them.
This is especially true because those 6 are still marked as unread in the list.

I get bounced/ pushed back down to the original post every time seems like lol
I have to use up page or hold the up arrow to get past the images or of course go to top of page arrow on bottom right.

I think it's an image loading feature. Until all images have loaded, you'll get scrolling.

In your account > Preferences, Disable lazy loaded images.

Been having some issues with the boxes that replace URLs.

Shorter URLs still seem to work fine.

Yeah problem is usually full size images and not thumbnail images, don't believe the page ever really fully loads everything until you get to it and then it drops you down the page
Funny thing is it drops you way down the page not just to the bottom of the post with the image or images are lol

I haven't seen any setting in preferences to control image loading except signatures though I wouldn't want to stop images from loading.

I can't find a feature requests thread, so putting this here. Please move this post if appropriate.

@W1zzard I see that you're putting the street price in card reviews now, due to the market situation with low stock and scalpers selling at vastly inflated prices. This is very sensible and helpful, but I'd just like to suggest that you also put the original MSRP there for comparison.

This gives us a baseline to compare to, which can help us judge how inflated the price is and also where a card sits in the general hierarchy of products, since it's not only raw framerate performance that determines how "premium" and pricey a card is. Things like fancy coolers and overclocking capabilities can add significant premiums to an MSRP, so it's helpful to know what the correct price under normal market conditions should be. What do you think?

And personally, I'd never buy off a dodgy eBay seller. I'd rather just do without until it's possible to buy what I want at a half reasonable price from an established, reputable seller like Scan or Amazon. I'm therefore still dreaming of that RTX 3080... sigh.

The ignore system is not working properly. A user gets added to the ignore list and I can still see their interactions and whatnot. Is it broken? Or perhaps being worked on and thus not finished?

I think they're invisible in the forums but can still be viewed via frontpage. So, if you read the article via the news pages, you'll see ignored folk. Is it that? If not, can you supply the details of when you can see ignored posts?
