How many PCs do you own?
2 dailys. My X58 rig and a old Toshiba laptop.
But...........enough benching parts for at least 100 or better full rigs.

Maybe so... Still, if you got someone to love I'd say it's totally worth it.
Uh huh........until she get 50% of everything you own.

I discussed this with my wife....

She's likely to throw it all out. Doesn't want to deal with it.

Will be liquidating soon actually.
On the list will be my X58 gear. I haven't an interest in it. Will regret selling it, but I could always use the funds elsewhere anyways.

How many PCs do you own?
Just a four or five complete systems, but enough parts to build a dozen or more if I include all my bench hardware.

How many PCs do you own?
my main rig (the R5 3600 and RX 6700 XT ) the SSFHTPCARGH! (which is a i7-3770 HP Compaq Elite 8300 saved from dumpster fate ), the PowerMac G4 Quicksilver, a DELL Dimension 5150 (P4-630) and enough PSU, mobo and CPUs to make at least 6-7 full build, mainly 1 LGA 775, 2 Socket 939, 2 Socket 940, 1 Socket 7 and 1 functional odd form factor Slot 1 (taken from a ACER Veriton AIO, also saved from a dumpster fate) so... 10-11 PC give or take...

Q: how much PC you want?
A: YES!

How many PCs do you own? To everyone on here:)Just as a matter of interest regarding people selling a motherboard and showing a CPU with thermal paste on it. I messaged the guy saying I hope you have put new thermal paste on it, It was such a
a mess :(I looked at the sight again he had removed the photo of it.

Nice! If anyone is interested in a very versatile Win98/earlyXP rig I personally recommend the ECS 760GX-M microATX V1.1 mobo with Athlon 64 or mobile Athlon 64 cpus! This motherboard has the rare capability to disable the cache on the cpu to slow it down for cpu sensitive games, and you can OC the cpu to 255MHz "FSB" or underclock to 799MHz with X4 multiplier if needed! You can even use vista 32-bit OS if you want with ATI HD3850 or HD4670 AGP videocards. You need to modify the cooler or the plastic bracket before using mobile cpus, but it's wort your time & effort!

I'd estimate about 20 , and I'll list them up in a short CPU/MB/GPU config to keep it as short as I can:

1. AMD K6-II+ / Luckytech P5MVP3 / V3 3000
2. Pentium II 400 / Intel WS440BX / GF4 MX440 (Gateway GP6-400)
3. Pentium III 650 / ABIT BE6-II Rev1.1 / GF4 Ti4200
4. AMD Athlon XP/ MSI K7N2-Delta ILSR/ 9700 Pro
5. Pentium E2160/ ASRock G31M-VS/ Intel IGP (for now, it's getting rebuilt anyways)
6. Core 2 Duo E4600/ Gigabyte 965P-DS4/ HD3450 (to also be rebuilt once I can get a Xeon on it)
7. Core i3 540 / Gigabyte H55M-USB3 / HD4850
8. Core i7 860 / Gigabyte P55A-UD3 / HD7870
9. Sempron 145 / - TBD - / - TBD -
10. Phenom II x2 550 / - TBD - / - TBD -
11. Phenom II x4 965 / Gigabyte 880GM-UD2H rev 1.0 (modified) / - TBD-
12. Core i7 - 2600k / ASRock Z68 Fatal1ty / R9 280 (HD7950)
13. Phenom II x6 1055T/ ASRock 890GX Extreme4/ R9 280x (HD7970)
14. Core 2 Duo E4300 / MSI MS-7336 / iGP (used to be a HP dx2300, might crossflash the mobo at one point)
15. Core i3-3220 / Gigabyte Z68P-DS3/ iGP (until I can find some more GPUs)
16. Core i5-3450/ MSI Z77X-G45 / iGP (same situation)
17. -TBD- / ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0/ -TBD -
18. FX8300 / ASRock 970 Extreme3 /HD7850
19. A64 3500+ skt939/ Foxconn NF4UK8AA / GF7300 (will probably swap the GPU for something else
20. Celeron G1820 (temporary) / ASUS B85M-E / iGP

Out of those, the following were used frequently up until I left home for a month (busy with work): 7, 8, 12, 13, 18.

What I plan to do:

- scrap 4 as I don't really have much use for a Athlon XP anymore
- possibly scrap 5 since not really sure what I can do with a E2160 - the case might be worth using for a compact Phenom build w/ another 880GM-UD2H, rev 1.4.
- 9 might also be scrapped before it gets to the dull buils stage, unless I can unlock the Sempron (yes, in case y'all were wondering, some of these Semprons unlock into 4400 and 4500e Regor core Athlons. Does take a while to reform the disabled core.
-10 will probably replace 5, assuming the Spire cooler I have from my dad's old PC, in conjuncture with a PWM fan, can keep a unlockable Phenom II 550 within sane temps on the Gigabyte 880GM-UD2H rev1.4.
- 7 will probably get a slight CPU and GPU bump
- 11's fate is yet undecided, until I can fully confirm if the M5A97 LE R2.0 is FUBAR'd or not.
- 20's fate is also undecided for now - I need to install a CPU retention socket on it and a CPU, neither of which I have with me at my dorm room, but all the 800km way, at home.
- 13 needs a recase as the KME CX-6059 I used for it gets a bit too toasty under heavy NFS Hot Pursuit sessions.
- 12 might also need one + a new PSU as the Spire Jewel 420W unit on it isn't exactly the brightest choice I could do.
- 18 awaits a case and some RAM sticks - I need to source some cheap Kingston HyperX DDR2 Blue or Mushkin Enhanced RAMsinks for the actual 2x4GB sticks I have at the moment ( Corsair Vengeance, 2x4GB, 1600MHz DDR3) as their RAMsinks are a cruel joke.
- either 15 or 16 will take the place of 4, along with whatever GPU I can find at the flea bay this weekend.

And that wraps up most of my builds and plans.

Not mentioned:

- EX58-UD5 + i7 920
- ASRock 960GM-VGS3 + Athlon II x2 250
- P5B + Q6600
You have a lot cool stuff there

I have 4 primary computers. My gaming PC (in sig), i5-4670 Z87 PC for photography software, an HP 8300 SFF (got for free) HTPC connected to the TV, & an HP notebook with 7000 series i5 that's a daily driver.

There's an unfinished room in the basement that has a workbench and shelves with video cards, motherboards, HDDs, ODDs, a box of CPUs & a bin of RAM. I have 5 or 6 cases on the floor if I want to put something in a case instead of a bench build. So I don't really have a list of PCs like Maxi, just a bunch a parts to create a build I want to play with.
I you there 68olds:)Yes they would be better in cases.:)

Why is it cheaper to buy two 4 GB PC19200 DDR4 2400MHz 288 Pin Memory only £8 and yet one 8 GB PC19200 DDR4 2400MHz 288 Pin Memory is £14?There want be any difference surely.I realise that you have to have two for dual memory.I am going for 16gb. CEX is selling four 4gb for £16.16gb is more than enough for me. :)I am all for saving money. :) I do need a fan for this case, i did try the fan from a dead PSU it was the right size ,but it only had a 2 pin. o_O

Here’s 7800 gtx and 4090 (roughly 400x more powerful?)

Hi five! Have "nearby cousin", also from BFG. 7800 GS 256MB, but for AGP.

Still works as GPU at my "2000 / XP / OS X 10.4 machine" with Pentium 4 3.0GHz Prescott at ABIT IS7-E2... or at least would work, if I decide to finally swap PSU, cause old Delta 350W gave up.

The reference 16-pipe 7800 GS was practically a 6800 Ultra what it comes to performance. Is that a 16, 20 or a 24 pipe one? G70 or G71?

edit: I have one too but I did that stupid mistake, I repasted it etc. before I tested it and it didn't work, how the hell I could show to the seller that I didn't break it. Crap.

But actually, that dead 7800 GS isn't that bad of a loss when you have the two rarest (from the fast ones) AGP cards from both sides (HD 3850 & 6800 Ultra), that's fine for me :)

How much you paid for yours? I got mine for 30EUR :toast:
I've had it so long, I'm not even sure what I paid for it. I think it came with other hardware 8 or so years ago.

I also glued a heatsink to the bridge chip using some superglue + MX-4 mix :)

It's 16 pipe, G71. Here is some old GPU-Z screen after some OC, cause for now I don't feel like I have time for PSU swap.

Bought it used in 2012 for 100 PLN (maybe around 30 USD back in the day) + stick of 1GB DDR 400MHz. Mass Effect 3 launched(-ish), and bought it was mostly cause of this back in the day^^

Not bad, 1GB DDR1s are always nice to have :)

Sucks though that the 6800 U has some problem giving analog signal. When using pure DVI, it works like a charm. Can't complaint as I got it for free!

It is out of a Hp case but would like to put it on here View attachment 283097
I have a similar speaker in a HP case and AFAIK it's a proprietary speaker which can also output normal sound like normal speakers. It's not your typical PC beep speaker.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong here.
