Good grief, really? Everyone's got their own thing, but $500+ for ONE keyboard, no matter how customized, is just redonkulas to me. For $500+ it better be quality gold-plated!
Not gold plated but you can be sure he customized the crap out of it. I guess that's the value.

For me I enjoy a quality keyboard as a typist but I can still get that for far less than even USD 150 if I forgo building it myself literally from a kit. Still to some there is appeal in making it their own, I'm sure. I get that. Just not my thing either.

This feels like it should count it does have smart connectivity lol.... I guess they have smart toasters and smart toothbrushes so it makes sense.... If only they made smart sheds I could afford lol....

I've got their 33cm line trimmer and don't have any complaints about it I do like that the charger has a built in fan to force cool air through the battery when its charging keeps the pack cool so it doesn'r overheat while charging

not about "immersion" for me, but in games like AC,
where the planes support helmet tracking, makes the game more realistic and a bit quicker as well..
e.g. overshooting a bogey, and you will have to move the plane around, search, then correct again to get a target solution.
while in VR, you only use the head to "look around", and find him, THEN go straight for target...

I have a workx trimmer that is half decent but might upgrade to one of theirs at some point.... Originally was going to go with a cheaper 850 ish select cut Xp model of the mower and a 350 usd trimmer but really wanted the new all aluminum mower.

Everyone should have headtracking regardless, but ultimate form of headtracking is still VR. Smooth precise and no input lag, look where you wanna look makes HMD-cued weapons easy to use (AIM-9X in BORE). The unfortunate tradeoff for DCS is that VR is just not as competitive. Can't zoom FOV out to boost situational awareness, doesn't zoom in as far/as nicely as in 2D for spotting, and is 1:1 head movement just makes it harder and an immense pain in the neck to check six. HMD is also rather jittery in VR

Performance and graphical quality in VR has come a long way but it still has a long way to go. Maxed out 4K graphics on the QN90B does take my framerate lower than VR settings (sub-60 in fights) but G-sync/VRR is a big boost to smoothness so I don't feel it at all; meanwhile dipping below 60fps was not a fun time on Quest 3, and given the amount of VR performance-related bugs/quirks it happened much more often than I would like.

The only bummer about the 43QN90B is that I wish it was an IPS (ADS) panel like the 55" and larger QN90Cs are. Reddit continues to spew garbage about IPS bad but as a monitor there is no question I would sell my monitors and move to the QN90B single screen if it was not VA.

As I say, for both the Fold and the Flip, the screen breaking is only a matter of WHEN.

Well let hope the Fold5 last 5 years at least, compare to the 8 months on the Fold4 :ohwell:

Note: The Flex hinge is designed to handle over 200,000 folding and unfolding cycles on average. Therefore, the device should last more than 5 years if opened and closed 100 times a day.

I wouldn't buy it though...

I am a storage needy person, so with these new arrivals. I will have a total of 82 TB of storage combined in my dual system and i can tell that with this, i have filled every single space on motherboards m.2 slots (accept one unusable port) and what the case can hold of drives with two systems also taking space inside the case. I only have 1 single m.2 slot not used on the back side of the mini-itx motherboard, but that port is un usable do to no space betwen case and motherboard let alone no space for a heatsink for it. So in total with the two new drives ariving. I have now 6 SSD´s (3 NVMe samsung 980 PRO 2 x 1 TB and 1 2 TB + 3 sata SSD that wil be A Samsung 870 EVO 4 TB and 2 Crucal MX500 with 2 TB and 4 TB capacity) and 4 HDD (1 WD gold 14 TB, 2 x WD RED PRO 16 TB and this WD ultrastar 22 TB).

It´s a tax that are on all storage devices. It´s for copyright compensation. Since the danish goverment want to compesate those who make content like music, movies and games against digital parates copying others material. So what ever you pirate or keep to legal material. You pay this tax when bying a new storage device like a SSD, HDD, USB storage or for that matter a burnable CD/DVD/Blu-ray.

I scored a fairly mint and unmolested Corsair Carbide 500R in white for $45 off the local Craigslist a couple of hours ago. My most favorite case ever and I'd been looking for one for a few years. I now have three; two in white and one in black. It looks like my retro Asus Rampage V Edition 10/ 6950X build will have an appropriate home and I now have a good reason to finally complete it.

Hey! That was my case! I'm grateful my 500R is going to a loving home. I couldn't bring myself to go at it with tin snips to make room for a 280 radiator.'

Here's my entry to the thread: I had been eyeing the Be Quiet Silent Base 802 for over a year, and decided it was finally time:

(for those wondering: yes, the sticker came off with no residue. No, the magnet wasn't anywhere close to any mechanical disks)

A list of noteworthy things that have been inside that 500R:
  • Asus Crosshair V Formula
  • A dirt-cheap Gigabyte AM3 board whose name I have forgotten
  • An AM3 stock cooler with one blade held on by gorilla glue
  • An FX-6100 running a light overclock underneath said stock AM3 cooler
  • An ATI FirePro V4800, yanked from a discarded workstation at a family member's office
  • A GTX 1050 Ti bought for a truly offensive amount of money at the height of the Bitcoin mining craze
It's been a wild ride

You are lucky that you can still buy those off Amazon.
Here in India even X570s and B550s are gone now.

Had the 500R myself for 8 years. By the end of those though I had abused the poor thing enough that I just couldn't reuse it for my new build.

It was pretty hard to one-up it though. Got the O11 Dynamic EVO - cost a fair bit of money too.
