Aliexpress drop :) (I apologize for the blurry pics)

Some CNC bits, and a collet set:

IMG_0292a.JPG

Two LGA17XX-18XX brackets, they are not the same material though. One is 21g and the other is 53g (says copper, but that ain't copper I think):

IMG_0293a.JPGIMG_0301a.JPGIMG_0305a.JPG

Adapter for my Lenovo Tiny M720Q (I really hope it will work, as they are NOT all the same) (EDIT: I just test it and it works!!!):

IMG_0306.JPG

Aaaand the big star Edifier S350DB, snapped just the corner of the box, I haven't taken them out of the pacakging yet. I need a Toslink cable....yeah not spending €50 on it, going with the cheapest China-made one ;) Will be hooked to my Creative Soundblaster Z card.

I use some huge taps at work at times (Landing Gear Overhaul), as big as my...

Anyways

$3000 on this back in January, and Yes it is necessary unlike a $400+ ngreedia gpu. (Water seized the rotating assembly in the old unit) It looks exactly like what came out, only Larger internally, not externally. Out with the 293 CID, In with the 346 CID. 120+ MPH (Has more than what my Spedometer can indicate at 120 as it was pegged, had no idea the tuner ungoverned the pcm)

It was a steal at that price considering overhaulers would have done the 293 CID for $4000~$4500.

Edit: The pictures don't do it justice, though. It's a magnetic box with absolute top-notch quality. The card is solid as well. AMD/ATi has come a long way since the HD 2900 series flamethrowers.

It's nice, I do miss colors, example Sapphire or HIS/Visiontek. At this rate I probably won't be back in hardware until the 10th or 11 Series Ryzen/Threadripper and Radeon RX 9000 or 10000 are around.

Sapphire still has some red accents in their Pulse cards. What I really miss, though, is HIS's design with a blower fan that doesn't wake up the neighbour's cat with its noise:

My HIS X800 XT IceQ was the best thing ever!

I do appreciate an all-black PC, though. It's elegant, clean, and doesn't decolour with time like other colours do. It only makes maintenance a tiny bit harder, but as long as you have a torch/flashlight... :)

It is the ATi Silencer, just with HIS's own branding. :)
This is back when HIS hadn't yet become a scummy brand that went to using the cheapest parts they could get their hands on. I used to have two HIS HD5770 GPU's which both suffered fan failure within 12 months and they wouldn't sell or send me a new fan they wanted me to send the GPU back to them so they could replace the fans yeah right like I'm going to pay to send a GPU back to china from New Zealand the cost alone would've been more than the card was worth in shipping costs. The fans in question were unrepairable as they were a sealed unit that required destructive means to get them apart, both GPU's despite being named as the same model had different coolers but used the same fan and just about every cap transistor or coil were of different makes from different manufacturers I ended up DIYing fans to fit because I had a few 80mm fans laying round gathering dust

I've always wondered why HIS disappeared. I guess stories like yours played a part.

Finally got a MSi 321UPX monitor! Scanning 3 sites daily for the UPX and URX models, finally snagged one at MSRP. LOVE it so far. If anyone is on the fence, do it. The upgrade from my 32" 1440p VA panel is night and day. The only thing I would say is that it could be brighter. Hopefully the screen burn doesnt become and issue. Will be dilligent with it. Its also annoying that 4090 only has 1 HDMI, had to use a bunch of adapters for my 2nd screen as it only had HDMI input.

Well I was looking to get some faster RAM for my system and this kit costs about what 32GB of DDR4 used to cost. The timings are god too. They are currently $129 CAD

Why not just use DP for the UPX?

Well Display port cant push 4K @ 240Hz and as far as I know
You need UHBR 13.5 to hit 4K 240hz with DP and the 4090 does not support that.
HDMI 2.1 has higher bandwidth and will utilize a lower DSC setting to achieve 4k 240 10bit

I did use a displayport to HDMI adapter to feed the second screen.
Why not just use DP for the UPX?

You totally can run 4k 240 Hz on DP 1.4 with DSC which your 4090 supports.

Nm, I'm still asleep.

A bunch of earphones, the leftmost one with extra bass is for arcade (beatmania IIDX, and sometimes Sound Voltex), others are for home usage. All bought from a tour in e-earphone Akihabara for a total of ~20000yen. It allows test plays, and it took me some 40 minutes to get to these decisions.

When there is audio signal, it does sound like what I expected, but the base noise? from the arcade was a bit too much, so I tried a 30ohm resistor. It caused too much harm towards audio quality, but it is the lowest resistance I can find, so, damn it.

Know what this is? It's Moondrop Chu 2 IEM. I always afraid to buy IEM because the bass is usually overpowering everything else which to me disgusting. Idk why the box is like that, perhaps to attract kids nowadays

It comes with detachable cable. It felt heavy and high quality. Also comes with leather pouch, also high quality. It feels premium.

Comes with 3 different size earbud and semi transparent cable. Cable already follows curvature of ear so it fits right in

Spec sheet of it for anyone interested. How does it sounds? Oh wow it sounds amazing. To put it simply, sounds speaker-like; no overpowering bass, vocal comes out sweet and great details in high and percussion without being overly bright. It sounds like you sitting in an empty room listening to music. That is the highest praise can give to IEM. This is amazing for something below RM100. I just found my daily driver

Normally, They are between £9-10 each depending on breaking strain. But I saw them at under £8 each.
