I will be trying to complete all the story missions in Guild Wars, I did initially start again with my partner back in 2020 with a new character on Factions but stopped.
I was close with one of my character but then quit, only to find out I got hacked and lost almost all my stuff when I decided to login again.
Anyway I restarted with a Assassin/Dervish build, about half way through Faction story now, then I want to do Prophercy as I have never finished it.

848 hours in total on my account, quite pleased with that.

Oh, I forget this advanced access thing was becoming more common and having earlier windows. I was like "wait, how now" when it launches end of this month. I'll probably never pay for that (unless it's a Final Fantasy IX remake then I'll shamelessly give in).

Since you are, though, I expect spoiler free impressions! Even though I'm getting it anyway, though.

Streets Of Rogue 2 Demo, basically a GTA (1) style game. Do some missions; retrieve item, rescue someone, destroy an item, and try not to kill/anger anyone/groups (although atm the quest giver don't mind the non-killing part). Claim land and start building.

Holy hell this new LiS is demanding. Even on medium at 4K, I saw a dip below 30 fps. Can this be because of denuvo?

And I thought that 3080 runs like 100fps maxed out.

For me, it's not even my WLAN. My internet connection is generally that shit. When I'm downloading a game, YouTube at 1080p is not an option anymore. Oh well, at least it's stable.

4K60 works fine from Youtube on me at least when downloading if I let it buffer for few seconds

Finished Deus Ex Mankind Divided Again. Third time for me to play it, but first time in 7 years. Had a good time, although it was more difficult than I remembered. And definitely not long enough when 2/3 of possible augmentations went unused. Just made me sad that because of Embracer Group we'll likely never see another one.

Talking of Deus Ex, I'm about to start it again, this time on my laptop with the GOG version and I'd like to use a graphics mod. It's either Kentie's vanilla mod which changes none of the gameplay, GMDX or Revision. I seem to remember that Revision changes much of the gameplay, especially the inventory and AI. I've played Revision and was hampered by limited use of medipacks, if I'm not mistaken. I'd like to play it again without major changes to the gameplay.
Any thoughts?

Kentie's Deus Exe isn't a mod, but rather a set of compatibility fixes. He also created a D3D10 renderer for the game, though I'd recommend darknovismc's more advanced D3D11 renderer instead. Neither of the two adds any content to the game, but they make it look prettier with more contemporary rendering techniques.

I cannot speak for GMDX, but I see that it introduces a host of new mechanics. I'm not sure whether they can be customized or disabled for vanilla experience.

I have, however, completed Deus Ex using the Revision mod and can only praise it. Every aspect of the game is fully customizable. I combined it with the D3D11 renderer and additional HD textures hand-picked by me. Played it in 4K for the ultimate visuals.

Your memory of the altered mechanics is due to Revision's optional Biomod/Shifter mode. Speaking from memory, as I currently don't have Deus Ex installed (blasphemy!), you can choose between vanilla, enhanced/tweaked or Biomod rule set. I played with enhanced graphics, maps, music and mechanics and absolutely loved the experience. I know it's hard to improve on something already perfect, but Revision does just that while staying very true to the original. You get much better visuals, revamped and expanded levels, a remixed soundtrack and 95% of the vanilla gameplay.

You can check out the screenshots I posted earlier in this thread. I'm turning in now, but will PM you tomorrow on how to set up the game with the extra visual content. Revision updates the original in a big way, but many of its textures are still low res. And it only uses D3D9 for rendering.
