    Made it through the weekend. Now 2 more days at 8 hours each, hopefully that is all (i'm tired this week, rotten sleep so far). I wanted to bring my bike in for service, this week, but scheduling a ride back and then to the shop. will not work this week. So, I'll shoot for next week.

    Gotta get back on the horse and start going. I want to visit the PO box, I have some visor cleaning stuff, for me helmet! Then off to work, with a quick fuel stop located right on the way. So, on to it!! :lovetpu:

    Well, just got done eating at my local diner and now I am sitting here, playing Raid and doing a couple loads of laundry. In a bit, I'm going to DoorDash some supplies, water for work and some snacks for after work. Oh, some ice cream and Chicken Pot Pies. That should do it!!

    OK, so, I am a bit weary. Sat 12 hours, Sun 12 hours, Mon 16 hours and today another 8. Hopefully, that's it! My nephew is leaving for, 3 months, or more, and going to Thailand and Vietnam. He wants to decompress and work on his Physical Therapy business, away from the rig a ma roll of living in the city.

    off to work, again. If nothing else, my commute is by Motorcycle, so I get my Therapy sessions before and after work. So, stress levels aren't much of an issue. Staying alert is an issue, I am not at a dangerous point, because I am aware of it, so I just have to try a bit harder to maintain focus. It's not hard, it's just there, right now.

    Well, made through the work week and only got called a racist, once. so, not so bad. Although it's been a few weeks since that happened, it's usually a number of times a day. I think it's because we have been teaching the folks not to mess with our building. It's just a matter of time before a new crew of idiots...

    arrive to learn the rules. We've had one guy showing up lately, that has been pushing his luck at the Hotel. 3 times today he was kicked out, once last Sunday, too. He's gonna find himself in a police car, soon. Other than that, things have been going well, at work, for the most part. Anyways, Good Night TPU! :lovetpu:

    Well, got both of my appointments done by around 1 pm. On my way home I thought I would try Cecil's Deli and Restaurant. It's been around since 1949 and I had never been there, our Church (when I was a kid) was right in the same neighborhood, I've seen it a thousand times. Today, I went in.

    Also, as a kid, I helped Guy, a friend of my mother's, who lived just up the street. For some reason, after I was done helping for the day, we would go to Tiffany's, for a burger rather than to Cecil's, 4 blocks away. (?) I overheard one of the Church goers mention Cecil's, a woman, at the time in her 30's...

    She would have been born after the Depression, whereas, most of my Mom's Friends were born during or before the depression. Anyhow, She said she liked it and someone in the group, older, said, "What? That Jewish place? Never been there". Makes me wonder if my Mom and her friends were a little Anti-Semitic.

    Rather than discuss Pre-Boomers and their issues, I'll just say, I, and they, missed out on a Gem of a place. Until today, on my way home, I decided to check it out. Better than a couple places, in Chicago, I have been to. If you ever find yourself in the Twin Cities in MN, Look them up!! They have 13 different awards on a wall that can't really hold any more, wonder if they have more they have taken down?

    I am now going to shower, get ready and go to the lake. While there I will search for someplace new to eat, and probably settle on someplace I've visited before. Sometimes I try to branch out, other times I like going with the familiar. I will stop somewhere for a coffee and make up my mind later. So, on with it!!

    So, it was a beautiful afternoon, mid 70's with a light wind. The sky at the lake had some nice fluffy clouds, with the Sun popping through every so often. I spent a little over an hour just chilling on a bench and decided to go back to Mavericks. Had another roast beef and Cheddar and some Chili and a Caramel shake. :rockout:Awesomeness, all around!

    I was feeling melancholy, afterwards, it was that good! I am now full and lazy. Thinking I may take a nap and then Youtube and Raid Shadow Legends w/ some ice cream.

    Done with another work week. Gonna do some apt. clean up in the morning, make a few calls, then head to the lake for a few hours and then, find a late lunch somewhere. That's the plan, anyway. We'll see how it pans out (Wed. are a tough one for me to get out of bed. Hopefully, writing this plan out will help motivate me).

    Well, I woke up late, 12:30-ish, so I am going to postpone the bathroom until either, tonight or friday morning ( I have a couple of appts. tomorrow that will start in the morning). I might have time Thursday evening but, not sure if my dinner plans are set, or not set (I hate floaty people, but if we were all perfect we have nothing to complain about! LOL!). :roll:

    Well, survived my little 4 day $0 ordeal. Phone is paid, parking (for the motorcycle) is paid and I am going, soon, to the Post office to pay for my PO box. Then, gotta get gas in the bike, Cigarettes and then, since it is nice out, head to the lake for a spell. After that, find something for lunch and then come home and plan my finances, because next check will be short 2 days and that check will have to cover rent.

    Well, it appears I am effed! I tried to cancel my patreon stuff this month, it charged me anyway. I got charged from some company called Actiteck, and I've received nothing back from them. Then, I got another auto payment that hit last night...I now have $7 cash and nothing else. I need gas for my bike and I am out of cigarettes.

    That $113 would have saved me from what is happening now, but I tied to budget what I had left but got stuck because of Patreon and Actitech. Actitech, when I looked them up, appears to be a bit scammy. Non of the phone numbers on their website work, 2 are robo sales pitches about some vague special and the 3rd was disconnected.

    I emailed them and if I get nothing by tomorrow, I am going to contact a lawyer. I am also thinking about changing my bank card, on Wednesday. That's a hassle but, it may be a necessary step, at this point. Anywho, I'm still kicking and I can eat at work...somehow, I will survive this on $7 of gas in my bike. Until then...

    2things. I talked with the Hotel Mgr. and the problem employee is gone. My boss had left early Mon. and called off Tue. due to some issues at home. So, did not, yet, talk with him about our pay thingy. I think I will call him later, with my concerns and idea. Until then, I am taking shifts, cleaning my apartment. Right now is my first 30 minute break.

    Wow. Well, due to my rent increase, last month, and my recent trip, I am broke. I woke up this morning, a few moments ago, a little panicked about Patreon hitting my account, today. So, I just rushed through canceling all my subs. This is hopefully, a situation that is not going to be perpetual. I am employed, after all.

    Which means, I didn not get paid for 36 hours. On top of that, we haven't gotten the raise that was due in JANUARY!! I lost count of all the excuses, and for a month it's been "that will be taken care of next pay period". I am going to talk with my boss today, and ask him if I can talk to Building MGMT.

    I am thinking of getting a Lawyer, to sue them for back pay. I want to talk with our mgmt guy and perhaps they will do this fight for us. I am sure he is aware of it, as is our Director of Sec. but, our guy has done nothing, ever, to help us and I am sure he has been avoiding it, per my boss's answers to my questions.

    Anyway, I am going to get ready for work and see how THIS goes. I have mentioned to both my bosses that I was contemplating perusing a lawyer for this so, I am not blindsiding them. I also think it would be better if the company paying the sec service sues them, I and my coworkers would be a little more protected, since we would be not doing it ourselves.

    Made it through the weekend and the rain, on Saturday ( waited it out until 4 am because the Hotel's night guy wouldn't do his job and rent me a room). Got home Sunday morning long enough to lay my head down before having to do it all again for 12 hours. So, yea, little tired yesterday.

    I don't think the night shift guy, at the Hotel, is gonna have a job for very much longer. I don't even have to say anything, since the complaints are already built up. We'll see.

    Well, new guy starts on my shift tonight. Good kid, should work out fine, for a change. Now, I just need to monitor my other employee, and keep him at the desk. I don't want the new guy stuck alone at the front desk, however the other employee is a complainer and doesn't like the desk.

    We, my boss and myself, just had a conversation with him about this. Took 15 minutes for him to stop beetching and whining. It's folks like this guy that make this, easy job, hard. Sit at the desk and make sure visitors are properly documented, easy as eating pie, but no....

    Complainer has to go on and on about all the stupid people he has to deal with. A truer case of the pot calling the kettle black, would be hard to find. OK, I got that off my chest, hopefully that means I won't end up going ballistic on him. LOL :banghead:

    Well, actually only worked until 1 today, so, an 8 hour shift, instead of 10. Been home for a couple hours now and I think it is nap time. I think that because I just had to watch the last 10 minutes of the video I was watching, after spending 1 1/2 hours doing some online training I needed to finish up today.

    Off to my fav diner for a bit, then I am going to kill a portal in Ingress, that is bothering me. Come home, do a couple loads of laundry and clean up a bit and hit the sack. I have an early 10 hour shift tomorrow, 5 am to 3 pm. It's another Overtime shift so, not complaining. Plus, I am done at 3. I don't mind that.

    Well, got a call this morning,Wednesday, at 6 am. Was asked to go into work for someone that called off. So, got up, after just a few hours of sleep, and got ready and hit the road. On the way home, anound 3:15-ish, I noticed my dash flashing, I needed fuel.

    My plan for Wednesday was to get up, get fuel and hit the lakeside. At 3:15 I realized how wrong the day really was. I did make it to the gas station, the one with the ethanol free fuel, so that worked out. However, I was so worn out from lack of sleep, I went straight to bed for 40 minutes.

    I forced myself out of bed but could not muster the motivation to go out to eat. Plus, it started to storm, lightning and downpour, by the time I had a small inkling of motivation. I eventually ordered a small bite to eat from Doordash. Now, I am going to get some aspirin, my nap got me a stiff neck, then off to bed.

    OK, so it's Thursday, again. I am gonna go get some stuff from my PO box. Then ride to a lake and read, with the birds singing as background noise. After a while, couple chapters, I will hit up my fav spot for a late lunch/Dinner. After that? Hope that the Rangers can figure out the Florida Panthers, and WIN this series!

    Tired of these Southern Teams going to the Stanley Cup Finals. Edmonton is now beating Dallas, so that is going OK, thus far. I am just hoping for an Edmonton, NY Rangers Final. Edmonton will showcase how much better the Western Conference is, over the Eastern Conference. But, it will still be a great series, the Rangers are very good.

    Well, yesterday I got my Jump starter/ Tire inflator. So, after waiting around for the delivery, got here around 2pm, I went and pumped up my tires. They needed it! Both were down 10 lbs!! The little thing-a-ma-job, worked flawlessly! Two tires inflated in minutes and it left me with 3 out of 4 bars on the battery!

    It did get pretty warm but, cooled off quickly. No problems or burns, I did a lot of review reading and picked this one on price and reviews.

    Ok so, yesterday, I had to jump start my bike, twice! First time, I stalled it, stupid mistake, forgot to downshift at a stop. Fortunately, I was literally a door away from a repair shop and we got it going in just a few minutes. The second time, I had to call Roadside, since all my friends were busy. Took over an hour.

    So, I am going, now, to test the charge. I ran it for over 10 minutes when I got home, last night. I will check the charge, hopefully it will start, then maybe go get a new battery.

    Okey Dokey, so...There was a power outage, last week. Everything was fine except, my Google Home Mini, could not connect to the network. So, go to asus router and cannot, for the life of me, remember or find my login info. All this at midnight last night. So, I went to bed.

    This morning, I spent the last 2 hours, I reset the router, reset the network name and my login for my router, set up my Google Mini and then my Alexa. I wrote down the logins in a secure place and will setup my other Wifi computers and tablet and such, as I need them.

    Now, I am gonna cut my hair, quick buzz with the Wahl trimmer, shower, shave and then check my bank acct. If that goes well, I will stop in at my favorite food place, after a scoot around town on my moto, nice day for a ride. Take care everyone, make time for something YOU enjoy!!

    So, another Thursday! Yesterday went to my Nephews for his Birthday. Had a good conversation w/ him and we had spaghetti ( it's the goto easy meal our Family does for gatherings). He plans to go to Thailand, in August, to stay for a few months, get away from the grind and focus on his goals, in a less expensive situation.
