Works fine with 418.81, just DL and unpack somewhere, then use NVcleanstall.

Clean install _removes_ everything before installing, but won't let you select all those individual components, like Telemetry

Edit: maybe a better name could be found? I'm open to suggestions

I would suggest "Nvidia Driver Installer" . After all this is what the program does, right. Very good & convenient tool dude. Maybe you can add more features with later versions. keep up the good work.

Thought of that, too, but not sure.

It also downloads the driver and removes components, so more than just "Install", also people will not find it when they google "nv driver installer", because nvidia's pages rank much better for those terms

Sell it to nVidia for some B's .... bucks, booze, boats and / or babes, whatever tickles ya fancy ... they have people who get paid big bucks to think of names that corner office likes and no one else does. But a "One size fits all" version

Option A - I'm feeling lucky, just check for updates and if ya find one, install over existing
Option B - Well that didn't work, uninstall every trace of all things nVidia (including registry), reboot and go find and install latest certified driver.
Option C - I'm reckless (or drunk) uninstall every trace of all things nVidia, reboot and go find and install latest beta driver driver.

- Lots of internal improvements
- You can now use the original NVIDIA installer exe from disk (no need to unpack manually)
- When finished you can either run the installer or show the files in a folder to save them / copy to other machine

With the new 0.2 build when i choose install from disk, select the file, after unpacking, there are two option, when i choose show the files, it lead to the files (which is ok) then i want to return to cleanstall, it says finished and i can close only, in this case any chance to show the install button again? Is it directly run setup through install button OR show the files where i can manually start the installation. Can i choose both? See unpacked files then do the install via your prog?
Btw thats nice features after exiting the program it clears the tempfiles.
Another thing, I checked the download driver from the droplist , so as long as i dont quit the program the setup files exist on temp, but once i quit program, it clear temps. Maybe any chance to not deleting temp files rigth after the exit instead offer a chance to check temp files are existed or not, so i can save the files later if i close the program coincidental?
Maybe i am picky one and makes not much sense

That's what I'm getting with 419.17 drivers
I used DDU, then rebooted to windows, then NVCleanstall - selected recommended and ticked everything under Geforce Experience. For some reason it said that I need to install additional required packages, so I agreed to that and I'm getting above error when trying to open GFE. Reboot doesn't fix the problem.

Used version 2.0 on 419.35 and worked fine, I did pre unpack the driver.
I use bare minimum, driver HDaudio, and PhysX.

Edit: I just noticed the PhysX System Software - 9.19.0218 didn't update was still on the older version.
I reran NVcleaninstall after uninstalling PhysX in control panel and install went ok on it.
Not sure what happened the other two modules updated correctly will have to do a good check next time.

@W1zzard Dunno if this is the right error report, but I get the "NVCleanstall has stopped working" popup when I try to run it. Trying to run it on a dual Xeon system with a GTX 680 running Windows 7 Pro.

425.31 works fine, with a basic install. I this time didn't unpack installer and let Nvcleanstall do all work.
