Not bad, 3 graphic cards. If nvidia has SLI, and ATI hase crossfire, what do you call having both together? 2 7800gtx 256, 1 x1800xt 512 very nice!!

i think i would have put the mobo and stuff in the a case, and the water cooling tanks on the outside.

Water cooling, drool drool drool. YOU GUYS SO LUCKY TO HAVE THOSE THINGS THERE! I'm from barbados and can't even find a 120mm fan with lights! Sigh and most of the sites i find don't even accept caribbean cards!! I like the way you got the water looking tho reminds me of a pond down the road. About the 2 cards, you do alot of multi viewing/tasking?

I wouldn't like the thought of having it like that permenantly, as it is fairly messy, but saying that, i can see you've put a lot of time, thought an effort into it, which I think is great!

How effective is that watercooling setup you have?

Hang on a mo... 2x nvidia and 1x ATI??? oh cool... havn't seen that doen before! How well does that work? You should have 1 monitor set up with the 2x nvidias, and another monitor for the x1800xt, that would be the ultimate dual monitor setup!

Good job!
looks messy.
Don't take any notice of this sad little fanboi.

dont even start a new flamewar (this goes for both of you and everyone else) in the case threads or we'll have to begin heavily moderating these things... ;)

Anyways, he might be like me and would add/remove hardware very often, have to reset cmos a lot, always tweaking.. or heck, just like it that way :P

I used to keep my pc outside of a case, similar to that, just' cuz. :) I'd say it shows a true modder.. :D

You deny being a fanboy, yet have that avarta...

Back on topic:

Yeah, I used to have mine layed out similar while i was waiting for my case to arrive, it's really nice not having any case fans to worry about! And like Diddyskoodlez said, it's easy to change hardware configurations!

Hi Simon, I guess we both had a bad day, I needed to blow some steam and went to the wrong place. Anyway, sorry this had to happen, I'm not like this. About the comment, I didn't see any harm saying it was messy, but after reading your pm I realize I might have, I don’t usually criticize anybody's things, I know its not right. Anyway, sorry about this and BTW, NICE OC! Moses.

LOL, yeah, it's insane! I only use it at that speed occationally though, for normal use i run at 3.85 - 4, but i think i must have been lucky, because most 3.2ghz prescotts i've seen won't go that high! I kinda chickened out at 4.2ghz because i'm a little nervous about going higher, but it probably won't got much further, another 50mhz maybe.

I like yours with the nvidia logo on the side of the case... was that aready stencilled on or did you do that yourself?

*nods* yep, I have mine outside the case. Works well for cooling too, especially in a nice cold room. nice big desk with the comp in the back makes sure nothing is spilt on it, either.. bada ba ba baaaa

Waste of money.

If I was rich, then maybe I would have two systems (better looking than these) also. But why in hell spend all that $$$ on two systems like that, instead of using the $$$ to keep upgrading one with the newest and badest stuff. Call it what you may, but this is not the best I've see here nor the most logical, lol. Unless of course you work as a sort of a tech testing the newest games and running benchmarks. Don't get me wrong, you get your props from me, nice setups. Just wondering why any one would spend so much money and time on something completly pointless.

The thing with having an open setup like that is you get to do a bit of experimenting, after which you decide on a good configuration, and finally you may start thinking about what kind of case you want for it, and what cooling solutions work best, and how you'd use them. It would only take about 20 minutes to stick that all in a case, so the moneys not wasted by any definition. I can see your point though.

Well, there is "thinking outside the box", here we just have a good example of computing outside the box....

Sorry, couldn't resist the bad pun.

Nice set up, kudos. =]

I don't think it's two systems, just a mobo and cards mounted to a tray sitting on top of a box w everything else in it. I like the idea, since I was a computer tech a few years ago I can see where it would be great if you do a lot of part swapping. I still work on a lot for friends (I think I have 5 other PC's here now) and I hate it when I have to remove things from mine.
