Performed Mods:
RE-CASED USING THE REDWING CASE POWER CABLES PROTECTED BY CABLE TIDY FRONT AND REAR 92MM CASE FANS 2 X 3" COLD CATHOD TUBES 3 X 80MM FANS 1 X 92MM FAN
THIS IS ACTUALLY MY OLD PC,SO I APLOGISE FOR THE AGEING COMPONENTS ,HOWEVER I UPDATED THE GRAPHICS CARD FROM THE GEFORCE 7600GT(AGP) TO THE XFX GEFORCE 7900GS(AGP) IN BENCHMARKS THE SYSTEM SCORED 14,531 IN 3DMARK 03 AND 7844 IN 3DMARK 05 ITS MY SPARE PC AND USES THE OLD N-FORCE 2 CHIPSET AND THE AMD ATHLON XP 2200+ CPU,THE MOST EXPENSIVE COMPONENT IS THE MEMORY SINCE IT SUPPORTS THE 2ND GEN DDR MEMORY AND I HAVE 1.5GB PC3200 RAM INSTALLED ON THIS SYSTEM NOTE THE CABLE TIDYS WHICH ARE A INEXPENSIVE WAY OF KEEPING THE INSIDE OF YOUR P.C TIDY,YOU CAN GET A PACK OF CABLE TIDYS FOR £1 FROM ANY "POUNDLAND" STORE THE CASE WAS A BARGAIN AT £12 FROM THE WELL KNOWN ONLINE STORE "SAVASTORE" COMPARED TO ONE OF MY OTHER LEGACY SYSTEMS (PENTIUM 4 3.2GHZ) THE OLD ATHLON XP 2200+ PERFORMS WELL AND SHOWS THAT THE ATHLON PROCESSOR COMPARES WELL WITH THE OLDER INTEL EQUIVELENTS(CELERON,PENTIUM4) THANKS FOR READING AND ENJOY THE PICS ! are the good old athlons xp love them back in the days my first amd was a duron 1300 i got it in 2003 and put it on a asrock k7vm2 mobo thats a good 3dmark for a set up you have there.
i ran 3dmark 03 on one of my rigs recently on a intel p4 3.Gig ht 512/800fsb 2-Gig of ram pc3200
on a ati9800-pro 256Meg ram agp x8 speed with the latest drivers and just got a score of
6500....
