VGA stickered with heatsinks, VRMs are cooled using one third of a AMD boxed cooler
The case is made mainly from particle board, the side panels are plywood for strenght. The red parts are cloth, actually bedding sheets. They double up as air filters. Air enters front, left and rear and gets pushed out on the bottom (PSU airduct) and right (radiator). Because of this, the mainboard sits upside-down on the left, CPU on the bottom, GFX on top. The metal parts (drive cage, mainboard tray and expansion slots) are scalvaged from my former case, the Sharkoon Rebel 9. On top i have integrated a handle, there would have been no way i could carry all 50 pounds the case weights with all hardware installed. The case is covered with an aluminum mesh on the inside to keep all ESD and EMI out.
The 3,5" hole in the front will be home to a cardreader. I know the cables are a mess, i will clean them up. Also, i need to build a water block for the Nortbridge and VGA and CPU VRMs since those get kinda hot.
