Not a case mod but a kitchen mod. Piece of crap Dell 2400. Installed tv tuner, cctv security cam card (4 cameras total 25fps each), X10 software for automated house lighting, wireless pci card, cut and drilled sheetrock for monitor and keyboard recess. ran wires through two sets of walls installed speakers and woofer in cabnets above fridge, installed external dvd drive under laundry cabnet for easy access, and wallaaa KitchenPro is ALIVE!!! Now works as a TV/DVD for Kitchen, a surveillance center, and controls all the lights in my house. also has wireless internet.

yeah I know Dell sucks, I'm working on a new water cooled rig. As soon as thats up and running I'm going to put my first build ( Av8r 1) in the place of the Lead Sled (Dell)

Awesome, but you need to hide the PC itself. What good are the security cameras if someone steals the recording equipment? lol....

How the hell do you reach to turn the damn thing on? :p

Nice idea, hiding it would be nice, but i just like the thought of people walking in and looking puzzled at the computer on the cieling.

Great job though, i love the cd drive mounted under the cupboards, and the way you mounted the monitor/keyboard/mouse.

I leave it running most of the time. If I need to restart or power the lead slead (dell) up. I use an extended arm device (screwdriver) to push the power button. works great.
