The Jetson Xavier NX 16 GB was a high-end mobile graphics chip by NVIDIA, launched on May 14th, 2020. Built on the 12 nm process, and based on the GV10B graphics processor, the chip supports DirectX 12. This ensures that all modern games will run on Jetson Xavier NX 16 GB. The GV10B graphics processor is a large chip with a die area of 350 mm² and 9,000 million transistors. Unlike the fully unlocked Jetson AGX Xavier 16 GB, which uses the same GPU but has all 512 shaders enabled, NVIDIA has disabled some shading units on the Jetson Xavier NX 16 GB to reach the product's target shader count. It features 384 shading units, 24 texture mapping units, and 16 ROPs. Also included are 48 tensor cores which help improve the speed of machine learning applications. NVIDIA has paired 16 GB LPDDR4X memory with the Jetson Xavier NX 16 GB, which are connected using a 128-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 854 MHz, which can be boosted up to 1100 MHz, memory is running at 1866 MHz. Its power draw is rated at 20 W maximum. This device has no display connectivity, as it is not designed to have monitors connected to it. Rather it is intended for use in laptop/notebooks and will use the output of the host mobile device. Jetson Xavier NX 16 GB is connected to the rest of the system using a PCI-Express 4.0 x4 interface. The card measures 70 mm in length, 45 mm in width, and features a igp cooling solution. Its price at launch was 499 US Dollars.
